The vast majority of self-declared 'trans' people do not have such Disorders of Sexual Development, and even that infinitesimal minority have either Y gametes designating male, or only X gametes designating female, written irrevocably in every one of their cells in their bodies.

It wasn't dishonesty, because she didn't misquote anyone. She read what it said in on her autocue and added a correction that was concordant with reality. In that way she was being honest. Only women can be pregnant. 'Pregnant people' implies otherwise, and to say that men can get pregnant is a lie.

I don't think that the joke could be misconstrued as condoning murder. I don't thimk it was trivialising it either, as the murder wasn't what the joke was about. It was just a coincidental, background detail.
