Oh God. That's even worse than forgetting. I think you need higher quality acquaintances.

I think if you're very allergic you kind of have to ask because people forget to be careful.

I'm glad it does. I paid $1000 for that van de graaf generator.

This is funnier given the three jobs I do for a living: science teacher, lab tech, science communicator. I frequently electrocute myself with a van de graaf generator.

There is no such thing as time.
Unless I'm hyperfocusing on it and then that's all there is.

Yeah that is unhelpful. Because it doesn't happen for all of us. Sorry these are the responses you're getting.

Sounds like wisdom. My doctor is pretty good, but my ADHD specialist doctor was totally useless and even made ableist suggestions at times. The best advice I've gotten has been from others with ADHD and my therapist.

Being able to hyperfocus is more of a sign of the meds not working I think. I'm not sure but hyperfocus is a symptom (occ. a superpower). I don't see why this would suggest it's working but maybe ask ADHD folk who use meds regularly. Don't ask a doctor - they don't know shit unless they have ADHD.

I listened to so many stories and watched YouTube videos of people talking about it changing their lives. People have said their minds become quiet, they can focus like NTs, and so on. But what's less well known is that for maybe as many as half of us it does nothing (useful).

For me that was every type of ADHD drug. But the side effects were horrible. No effects - just side effects. π

On this thread, I'll be unpopular, but I don't get hangovers at all. No matter how much I drink.

That won't happen in the US as the legal system there has too many cowards. They had their chance and they missed it.
