Just saying, if you don't want to be called a Nazi or a fascist, then don't act like a Nazi or a fascist. Funny how the "fuck your feelings" crowd really gets offended when you don't give a fuck about their feelings.

I'm not going to shame or scold anyone who still uses Twitter, but why would you want to use a site that barely functions half the time, is full of far-right propaganda and hate speech, and the owner is a fascist who undermines democracy?

A few of my favorites: Mulan (original) Shang Chi Turning Red Tomorrow Never Dies Everything Everywhere All At Once

It's funny how the world expected this big fascist spectacle out of North Korea, but Trump's birthday parade just gave off these low energy vibes:

The huge numbers of peaceful protests vs the small, low energy of the military parade is simply further proof that defeatism and doomerism are loser ideologies that accomplish nothing and that no matter how loud they are, the fascists are outnumbered.

Is it just me, or has local news become almost unwatchable? Half the time they're obsessing over and scaremongering about whatever the latest random crime is instead of other, more important issues. I imagine it's even worse in America.

Even though I'm not American, it's inspiring to see countless people protesting fascism. You do you, of course, but I respect someone who puts themselves out there way more than someone who thinks that scolding people on social media is activism.

I'm shocked, SHOCKED that the Minnesota terrorist turned out to be a far-right religious extremist despite all the propaganda on The Everything App desperately telling you otherwise.

"Diversity of opinion" has always been a BS term that means "pander to the worst people in the world and give them a free platform to say all the hate speech they want without consequences." Let's not bring that shit here.

The only King I'll ever recognize:

Stay safe if you plan to go to a protest today, and also be vigilant in case outside agitators try to start something. But also have fun while you're there. Nothing makes fascists madder than seeing people they hate experience joy.

"Bluesky is a bubble" say shitty fascists and opinion columnists who never leave the Fox News bubble, never criticize the manosphere, and know they'll face criticism outside of their Twitter followers. Remind me again why I should take people like that seriously.

Games I'm currently playing:

Friendly advice for when Trump has his fascist, big boy military parade: Don't spend the day doomscrolling or giving him the attention he craves. Instead, you could join a protest or spend the day doing something that brings you joy.

"Nobody asked for this" is such a bad faith argument. First of all, you don't speak for anyone besides yourself, and even if "nobody asked for" something, that doesn't mean that that thing can't be good. Look at Rogue One and Andor.

People really need to understand that someone working in Hollywood or the entertainment business isn't automatically rich. Aside from the execs and the A listers, the average person in the industry is still working class.

I would much rather have longer seasons with more episodes with lower production values than shorter seasons with fewer episodes with higher production values.

Getting real tired of seeing Trump voters saying that "they didn't vote for this" when they fucking did. We all saw the "mass deportation now" signs and read Project 2025. You're simply mad that his cruelty has impacted you and your community.

I miss long form television so damn much and I hate how rare it's becoming. Even hit shows like Strange New Worlds aren't safe. It's like the executives and accountants are sucking all the magic out of television to save a few pennies while they rack in big bonuses.

There is one good thing Elon has done. He completely destroyed the myth that billionaires are geniuses and helped erode public trust in the wealthy. Everything he does is toxic now and he's ruined his own brands.

No, Twitter, World War III isn't happening. Stop making it trend. Maybe I'm being cynical, but I think that because the rest of the world is so used to America, Israel, and Russia bombing other countries and committing war crimes that they'll barely muster a statement.

Maybe it's for the escapism, but I love cozy games. I can sink hours into games like Animal Crossing and especially LGBT+ friendly ones like Rune Factory. I still love playing other genres, but sometimes I'm simply in the mood to relax with something wholesome.

Whoever said that they want to live in interesting times is an idiot.

I've been rewatching Star Wars Rebels and it hits even harder after Andor. Especially this episode with Mon Mothma. This episode came out in 2017, but this speech still feels very relevant. (Minor Rebels spoilers.) www.youtube.com/watch?v=0UEm...

I want to smack whichever studio executive thought that the 10 episode or less season model should be the default for streaming shows. While I'm glad Strange New Worlds is getting five seasons, but seriously? Six episodes? That's a stretched out movie.

I'm down for a Spaceballs sequel if Mel Brooks is still involved, and I'm very curious to see how they do it. But I'm dreading the discourse because the chuds still somehow think that Brooks is on their side and lack the media literacy skills to get his movies.

As America descends into fascism in real time, the one silver lining in all of this chaos is that other countries are able to see it as a warning to not repeat the same mistakes. It was still really good to see Canada and countries like Australia reject their own version of Trumpism.

The nuclear block is still one of Bluesky's best features because it actually works. Not only does it help protect yourself, it helps deny fascists, bad faith opinion columnists, scammers, scolds, and other shitty people with the platform and attention they crave.

I still feel that the studios would be better off if they put actual creative people in charge. People who have some experience in the field instead of some outside, soulless corporate executive who treat movies, games and people as numbers on a balance sheet.

PedoCon Theory is always proven right. Whenever a right-wing politician makes a big deal about LGBT+ people being "groomers" or goes on about "law and order", they will most likely end up in a @antifaoperative.bsky.social post within the next month or two.

Between tariffs and ICE, who the hell would even WANT to travel to America now? I know I won't be going there for the next four years.

Terminator 1 Predator Total Recall True Lies Jingle All The Way (guilty pleasure movie) But I fucking love Commando. Yeah, its cliche and cheesy as hell, but its pure mindless fun that's exactly why I love it.

One more month until Superman and I'm genuinely excited for this movie. Superman is exactly the kind of character we need right now - someone who is positive, kind, selfless, and simply wants to do good and help others.

I actually liked Veilguard, but yeah, this is a big problem with both the gaming and film industry that doesn't get talked about enough. Meddling executives, who typically aren't even creative people, who set unreasonable expectations and deadlines, which leads to crunch.

The one thing that conservatives love more than anything is being fake victims. It's easier for them to whine on the news and social media for sympathy points to sell their bigotry and fascism than it is to have a good faith debate.

How the hell did we lose two music legends in the span of a few days? RIP Sly Stone and Brian Wilson.
