Yet Lilo & Stitch and maybe HTTYD are probably going to be the first movies to break $1B at the box office this year. There clearly is an audience for them.

If I was making a tier list of animated dads in terms of their parenting, Homer would probably be a B tier. Peter would be right at the bottom. Bob, Beef, and Anne's dad would be S tier.

Yup. Homer's a good dad when he wants to be, and even when he's not, I wouldn't necessarily call him bad or cruel (unlike say Peter Griffin). At worst he's incompetent.

If you're wondering why I put Homer here despite him strangling Bart (which he hasn't done in years), I think he at least genuinely tries to be a good dad. Go and watch episodes like Lisa's Pony or And Maggie Makes Three and tell me he doesn't care about his kids.

A big part of fascism depends on it giving off invincible, strong man vibes. Yet more often than not, it is often grossly incompetent. Today is a good reminder of that and that they are outnumbered.

I think the big reason why they're railing against Bluesky or trying to delegitimize it is because this is probably the only place where they'll get criticism and called out on their bullshit, and fascists can't have that.

Rune Factory, Mario Kart, and Fantasy Life are my initial main Switch 2 games for the next while.

And as a bonus, he also proved that no matter how much money you have, you can't buy integrity or being cool.

The new Rune Factory is lots of fun and works great on Switch 2. It's the perfect de-stresser.

Unfortunately, no, but those would be good lists to have.

I really miss when Trek and other shows would run for seven seasons with 20-24 episodes each. This is downright insulting.

Don't let shitty people get a hold of Bluesky like they did on Twitter. Keep blocking, follow verified and reputable block lists, and hopefully they'll go back to the Nazi bar.
