I mean, you literally said Black men voted for this…while showing a chart that says Black men voted for Harris by a wide margin soooo…

But Trump said no masks would be allowed at protests…🙄

And white people have NEVER voted for a democratic presidential candidate since LBJ. Gtfo with this nonsense. Black and Brown voters voting in higher numbers for Biden v Harris is a separate question for the DNC to navigate, but your statements are nonsense.

I strongly dislike Mullin for lots of reasons, but “we was” is a perfectly acceptable dialectical variation. In his regional dialect, it is not incorrect to use this grammatical construction. Let’s not denigrate people for using a dialect of English.

Idk what the real answer is, but I always thought it was because the little bits look kinda like grape seeds?

I don’t think Trump knows how to use a camera or take a picture…

Thank you! I’ve always been intimidated to try to ride with my bike because I didn’t know how to put my bike on, and I worried about doing it wrong or causing a delay with my ignorance. But I feel like I could do this!!

Our district is no gifts with a value over $1.00

As a teacher, I’m not supposed to accept any gift from students or parents per our contract. Not a $5 gift card to Target, not an apple, not a handmade bracelet.

If I drove to work, I like to pull in at home, turn off the engine, and just sit in silence for like 10 minutes, not even doing anything, just enjoying the quiet, before going inside to the chaos of having a thousand small children at home.

I washed, dried, folded, and put away a whole load of laundry all in the same day. Pretty proud of myself for that one.

That’s nearly $67,000 per bed per year in costs paid by taxpayers.

We love our public lands, and so do our children! With all the mess in the world, showing children how to love and care for the land feels like an act of hope.

Same! During and after the election, my neighbors couldn’t say enough. Now it’s just, “I don’t want to get into it.” It’s mostly farmers and retirees around here. Young people tend to leave if they don’t farm.

I got my student loans paid off through 2 years of Peace Corps service, 2 years of AmeriCorps service, and 5 years of teaching in an area with an extreme teacher shortage in a school w/ 86% free-reduced lunch. I did pay a considerable amount as well! Student loan forgiveness gave me stability.

I’m in a red rural area. Trump flags and signs have been quietly taken down. There’s still some up, but nothing like 2015-2024!

Maybe my math ain’t mathing, but isn’t a jump from 3.1 to 6.7% much more than 63%???

Improper entry is a misdemeanor, not even a felony, and carries maximum jail time of a few months. However, unlawful presence is not a crime at all, and being within the boundaries of the USA improperly is not a crime.

This article made me tear up and relit a fire. I immediately joined AmeriCorps for 2 years upon returning from my 2.5 years of Peace Corps service in 2010, and still work and live in the community AmeriCorps placed me. Both programs have had an immensely profound impact on my life, esp Peace Corps.

Yes. Every day of my life. At least so far - I figure at some point karma will get me for being glad I have no allergies and give me horrible allergies when I’m like 57.

So is it biology or is it god taking the life when the baby didn’t deserve that life? What exactly did the baby do to be undeserving? Or are some babies just undeserving of life before they’re even born?

If it was really about money, they’d invest heavily in programs like AmeriCorps, and get more young people looking for experiences and to build resumes working in exchange for a modest living allowance and a few thousand dollars that can only be used for education. It’s crazy to cut instead.

I’m not sure I understand what you mean. I live in an area with many small-scale farms all around me. I buy my eggs and milk and meat from small scale farms. What are the shackles that tie farmers to their farms?

It was because of AmeriCorps that I became a teacher in a high-need content area in a low-income area with an extreme teacher shortage. I stayed in this community long after my service period ended, 14 years and counting. I wouldn’t even be here without AmeriCorps.

The advantage of history. Women’s leagues exist in part to allow for greater participation by women in sports. Trying to change the stereotype that sports are for boys.

the host countries pay for part of their living expenses living expenses for volunteers, so it isn’t even completely free, and shows that other countries are willing to invest in this program.

I’m a white woman in a large city and I regularly take public transit alone. No concerns. People seem to think every other rider is getting stabbed on the daily.

Sure, but I don’t trust something with data that can’t learn humans (typically) have 5 fingers and 2 hands.
