That dance music festival is happening this weekend over at Allianz. We’ve been hearing the sounds for a while from a mile+ away. Kinda sounds like a person parked on the road playing loud music in their car. Not yet rattling our windows/penetrating the plaster like last year.

This Valkyries court is like an 2010s ship lapped, white washed chevron nightmare. It hurts my eyes to look at it. Basketball courts do not have to be a space for bad graphic design. They can be a stable, benign element.

Tani worked his ass off that whole game. He got the brace and was still running hard to help on the defensive end, putting himself into the right spots the vast majority of the time. Great game from him.

We are entertaining young friends this evening & landed on the Newsies. I watched this when it came out. Clearly remember Christian Bale and the Doogie Howser guy Max, who is the vocal equivalent of Rizzo the rat. Didn’t remember Robert Duvall or Anne-Margret. 😳 A-M is hawt at 51. Middle age goals.

As much as I want success for KAT, I don’t see how the Knicks can win versus the Thunder. I see a path for the Pacers. Part of it is what they’re doing tonight; force the Knicks into a fast pace and grind them down. Knicks are responding, but so far the speed of the game is what the Pacers want.
