People need to be ready to specifically defend porn and erotica as art. There is nothing that the government does to censor porn that they won’t use on every marginalized group after. Banning porn means banning people of color, queer people, disabled people being depicted in sexual relationships.

I think this is happening in no small part because "an education" is treated entirely as a commodity. It's not a thing you want for its own sake, it's the thing you need to have to even begin to be able to apply to entry-level positions and secure ANY kind of income or chance of upward mobility.
