They are not privatising the NHS, hyperbole based on prejudice never persuades anyone.

MMR wasn't around when I was a child and accordingly I was never vaccinated against Pertussis, whooping cough. I got it as an adult about 15 years ago and it was 100 days of hell. Please vaccinate, even if as an adult you are unlikely to die, you will be seriously ill, for 3 months.

Yes please do. Can I suggest getting vaccinated against Pertusis? They don't call it the 100 day cough for nothing. It is hell, believe me.

Or, perhaps the angry cranks, aiding and abetting our right wing media could knock it off a bit. Never any acknowledgement of positive outcomes, just endless hatred of Starmer calling him a murderer. Today's moral panic is about a theme park. It's terrible to have a theme park, apparently.

But Trump's level of simplistic stupidity can still allow him to see that if he does A, x happens so if he reverses A, y will happen. Like he is playing a game for a five year old. Even he can see a chance to make money. Even if his original intention was not for x to happen.

How much will this hit us in the UK? Is this restricted to the US, as I think( please correct if wrong) ours was when Liz hit that button? What is the impact on the securities market? What is the liquid nitro going to look like? Genuine question posed to those with greater knowledge.

True. the people supporting Farage would have dozed off after reading one line of this.

Indeed, they have no investments to lose. So they need to be subjected to other consequences. Sky high prices and a cut to benefits and medicaid might do it but I doubt it, they are all in. What else is there?

Tariffs bad enough. But the world's largest economy suddenly declaring everything needs to be changed, and that those retaliating or fighting against must be punished? That's the crisis of the bond markets etc.
This is beyond a trade war.

Trump's destructive Maoism is what is worrying institutions like central banks. No government wants to follow, not least when "bring back factories" is shown as the superficial idiocy it is. Everyone wants to try talking. But ultimately, he simply has to be stopped.

Absolutely. Just accepting this fact without explanation is ridiculous, when will someone put him on the spot and explain the difference between a fact and a reason?I want to know why too. He might not get a better time. People are appalled by Trump and would be receptive to safe shelter.

I block all misogynists like Stevie, who has to call her Rachel from accounts, to make himself look big. This statement, by the way, is from an economic illiterate as well misogynist. Reeves has never told you to invest in the market, you stick to investing at Wetherspoons or the bookie.

Well, a Customs unions is off the table, he told us so. I think the time has come for a full and frank explanation on this stance.

They are not planning on staying in these countries, it is merely transit. Having an ID card if you are planning on staying is very different

Tell me. What do you propose to replace them with? This is a serious question, not one based on fantasy.

It is not condescending, it is an attempt at education, an attempt to save them from themselves, not that they deserve it. But this time it affects us all, their stupidity hurts us, just like brexit did.

Surely some of them are on the light side of 60 and would rather like to be elected again? Because keeping your seat is all that ever matters to them. Do they seriously think this will keep them their seats when the unholy horror eventually bites hard ?

I really want him to succeed because the alternatives of Tories/Reform and too awful to contemplate but somebody in that party needs to come clean with us on why he is taking this line? Anyone?

I don't have family there so will never have to go for that but I won't even transit through the US now. Their tourism industry will suffer, that tends to happen when you insult and treat your customers badly. Who cares.

I have no problem with immigrants, asylum seekers etc, none. But the public want people without a right to stay too be returned, he is doing what they ask. Starmer haters will never be happy. I don't like the red lines either but I am so tired of the perpetually angry crank hyperbole and hate.

Workers rights, nurseries, sending back people not entitled to be here, reduced waiting times, legislation to deal with hidden pricing etc. Have you seen enough pointing yet? It is all one sided with you Starmer haters. You are dishonest, in my view. A Tory/Reform trait. You hold no high ground.

Why? Just don't go unless it is essential, like a funeral, for example. Business can be done by zoom. Who is going to all that bother? I need my phone as it is, all my info, house alarm etc. And for what, to face MAGA? No thanks.

Ozempic is manufactured in Denmark and France and is a Danish company. Americans will now have to do without or pay more, otherwise, Denmark will make Make America Fat Again.

I agree with you. Everybody thinks he has been shorting, Elons' new take kinda gives the game away. They expect the tariffs to go when it is time for Trump to cash in. He is nothing but a common crook.

I have seen a lot of governing but I don't hear any of those who criticise point them out. Assuming you are talking about Labour of course?
comment in response to

What do we expect them to do? Sit back and take the endless right wing lies? We have seen how that works out. They have to hit back and get to the gaslit people who vote Reform, the media won't tell them the truth. It's not good but needs be with our media.

You see, there you lot go again, making assumptions, delivering insults, your way or the highway, insist that I scream, yell and call Starmer a murderer because that is literally all I see. Gas light the public into the same hatred and say hello to the Tories or Reform next.

Which is why these factories will remain unbuilt, investors need stability, not a roller coaster ride with a malevolent, mendacious idiot.
comment in response to

It's the voices of the hyperbolic haters that ignore any good news from Labour and focus only on what they see as the bad. It's never constructive and usually done before they have any detail to base it on, especially the ones who lie, exaggerate and make assumptions without facts. You bugger off!
