We’re glad to have you. The last episode was very Covid limited. Their Mat (Barney Harris) ghosted them after a Covid break, then they had to re-plan several fight scenes on shoot day due to Covid rules changing; but seasons 2/3 are better.

They have to cut some things because they have 2/3 the run-time per word of GoT, but they don’t have to cut everything. It’s a lot easier to do Mat’s story without Hinderstap than Mat’s story without the Finn, and I can’t think of a way to do Hinderstaap that takes less than 15 minutes.

They dropped season 2 in September/October of 2023. Due to the strike so the marketing sucked. It’s mostly book 2, but there’s some things from 3. The Egwene subplot is superbly acted. We’re hoping we can get season 4 officially greenlit by watching 3 really really hard.
