The problem is that most people think they have "good insurance" until they get a big bill they can't pay or realize the wait for an in network provided is 3 months

That's the kind of friendship bracelet that says you've got a keeper of a friend.

Also preventing those "minor colds" decreases your risk of heart attack, stroke, and even appendicitis. Social distancing in COVID was a natural experiment that proved what we'd thought: a lot of serious illness is triggered by inflammation from recent viral illness.

This is my favorite example... They have a right to demonstrate and have free speech. And we have a right to add an appropriate sound track.

Right but if they did, do you want to be on the US Trans Curling Olympic team with me?

Not in favor of separate trans events, but if that's a thing I'm going to start playing an obscure Olympic sports and see what happens.

Depending on your insurance you may need a prior authorization if under 50. To make life easier I send an Rx to the patients pharmacy, get a refusal from the insurer and then send a PA. Sometimes it goes through without a PA if sent in with the ICD code B02.9 (history of Zoster).

He's literally the only person I'd let ICE drag out of my ER.
I'd tell them where he was hiding. Hell, I'd tackle him if he was trying to escape out the ambulance bay.

If you want more information, this is a harm reduction patient handout - but also has 2 folds of "info for my doctor" about chronic (non infectious) silicone cellulitis as well as the (deadly but very treatable if you diagnose it) acute silicone emboli.

OMG these people will do anything to make people (themselves included) believe that they are special spiritual people with "old souls" and magic powers.
Like honey you're a mediocre white woman with the intellectual capacity of a rutabaga who is grifting on the suffering of others.

And a creator who makes affordable Dollar Tree meals has over 3 million followers on Tiktok. She blew up with a $20 holiday meal for 4, and Dollar Tree started making prepackaged bags with her ingredients.

And guess why you'd use bicalutamide in a trans girl? Because her insurance won't pay for, or the law prevents providing safer medications like Lupron. Bicalutamide is way more affordable when paying out of pocket.
But they don't really care about the safety of trans youth anyway.

I mean technically it's more of a pissing blood and always feeling like you have a UTI.
But honestly it couldn't happen to a more deserving guy.
