Masked and armed kidnappers need to be treated as masked and armed kidnappers int the are properly identified and can show a warrant. They need to be arrested, cuffed, and detained while details are sorted out and verified.

A lot of Archaeological Microbiologists believe that Y. pestis was originally a Marmot disease that mutated and jumped to humans. There's a great book about the Plague by John Kelly, called The Great Mortality. Very much worth the read!

As someone who’s seen countless well-meaning “fundraisers” of all kinds, 99% are train wrecks, where they would have done more good donating their production funds instead.

Unless an artist is a cultural icon who doesn’t need a personal presence on social media, one disappears from public memory soon after leaving the public eye.
I know plenty of comedians, musicians, and wrestlers (except Timothy Thatcher) who lose bookings when they took time away from social media.
