The irony of all of the fucking money they put in for the likes of Messi, Neymar, Mbappe, Ramos, Di Maria etc. Only to win it with this team

Yeah, I’m torn. Want our dutchies to do well. But I think PSG have been better this season, plus they deserve a ucl win. (And of course it justifies LFC getting knocked out)

Not for inter though 😅

So far so good!

I don’t like it, but we didn’t offer him a job. After last season I expect his options might be limited and adding “working with Guardiola” to your resume is going to increase future opportunities for him massively.

Jep, duidelijk dat die brug verbrand is. Wat een einde… what could’ve been…

They did, literally minutes before announcing Jeremie. Trent has also unfollowed the LFC account and changed his bio to Real Madrid FC. Seems both sides had a big falling out.

Always nice to see a former Liverpool player do well

Legend, makes his little country proud 🇳🇱

Had no idea! You can be one of the best players out there, I don’t want those vibes at LFC

Could be a fun day 🤞

Oh, what could’ve been… I’m afraid we’ll be saying that a lot the coming years no matter if he fails or succeeds

Carvajal is set to return soon too, if he’s any close to before injury Trent won’t start over him. He’ll probably get mixed up in another midfield experiment, not perform amazing right away and be dropped by the fans instantly…
comment in response to post
According to the media they did. They offered him more than Madrid did.

Don’t mislead and lie to people who support you.
comment in response to post
Yeah that’s what they did, Boo. 🤷‍♂️
comment in response to post
No. Because he gaslit the club and fanbase telling them he only wanted to play for Liverpool and captain the club one day. He then rejects all extensions, runs his contract down and moves to maybe the wealthiest club in the world for free. All we get is a condescending PR video.

I agree it would’ve shown more class. But I’m not upset with people with voicing their emotions in that way. It’s not the best way, but it’s far from the worst way.

Haha, ja ik ook 😂

Really hits the nail on the head!

They supported him through every time the media criticised his defending skills. Every bad run of form. And for many the way he’s chosen to end his legacy is more disrespectful because of it. Most football clubs turn on their players way faster.

I don’t think I would’ve booed were I on the stands yesterday, but I understand the response. It’s not unreasonable.
comment in response to post
No money is a large part, but many fans feel he gaslit them and the club. The pr video was in really bad taste too imo. I don’t think I would’ve booed him if I were on the stands, but I can’t say I don’t understand the reaction.

I think Bradley looked really good yesterday 🤷‍♂️
comment in response to post
Maybe that’s a personal preference then, because I think the way he’s done is is probably the most sucky he could’ve done it. Told the club time and time again he wasn’t going anywhere, then all of a sudden reject extensions and leave for free leaving the club with nothing.
comment in response to post
Fair! I don’t know if I would’ve booed were I on the stands today, but I can’t say I don’t understand why people might. Nor say they’re wrong for doing so. Booing is pretty mild imo. I have a way bigger problem with whoever designed that Arteta flag.
comment in response to post
If it was about the fact he’s leaving I’d feel boos would’ve been unjustified. But I think people’s disappointment/anger is pretty justified considering the way he’s leaving and how he’s handled the whole situation.
comment in response to post
So seems like hes sharing some of the worst aspects of both situations😅 went for free, without a justification fans might understand. To a big rival (although not as culturally deep rooted as Manu, still pretty awful considering real might be the wealthiest club in the world)
comment in response to post
Because many fans feel he misled them and the club, moves to one of the wealthiest clubs in the world while leaving his childhood club with nothing to replace him. Then putting out an almost condescending pr video.
comment in response to post
I understand, but I also understand why many fans did voice their discontent. I don’t think it’s reasonable to expect people to not be upset by the way he’s choosing to end his legacy.
comment in response to post
Nobody is booing because a player is moving clubs.
