It feels like the first time in months I left the city to get some writing done in the wild. Last time, I had to wear a warm jacket and bring a thermos of tea. Today, I've brought a cooling bag to keep my water chill. Admittedly, I'm not getting much done, but it's very pleasant.

Happy Soupturday! Today, I'm revising the chapter I rewrote, and once that's done, I'll probably go over it once more to be on the safe side. Once that's done, it's just the rest of the book left.

#PretendPanel I believe my books (all of them, but particularly Lost Dogs) would work best as a low pace, realistic-ish anime. The kind that shows long sweeping panoramas while characters have serious conversations. Something that's adjacent to real, but still distinctly not.

I'm sure this doesn't come as a surprise to anyone, but it's good to see there being research on it. My current take is that the journey is more important than the destination, and that using AI allows you to cut the journey and skip directly to the destination.
