If he doesn’t trust his squad - fair enough - but then you dip into the market (in January that passed) to ensure you have the tools to rotate as needed. We’ve persisted with out of form players / flogged other first XI’ers as a result. Hope he adjusts this for next season.

This is a critique of mine for Slot - the man stubbornly ignores the impressive cameos of players that he isn’t keen on. I’ve only been impressed with Elliott & Chiesa & Endo when given a chance in the latter part of games. He just doesn’t ever seem to want to venture there.
