What’s even nicer than doing a half marathon, is knowing that now I’ve done the half marathon I have a month, A WHOLE MONTH, ahead of me where I can just run for fun before the training for Cardiff starts up. I couldn’t be happier.

A gig on a school night? Where I got to exorcise some demons by singing at the top of my lungs? While still being home and in bed by 10:30pm? Magic. It was such a joy to hear The Get Up Kids play Something to Write Home About, which was a big part of the soundtrack to my awkward teenaged years.
