It's common for neurotypical people to feel that way about us. They'll never understand us, largely because they don't even try. Don't let them decide for you who you should be. I don't think you're annoying, and I'm sure a lot of other people on here and Twitter don't think you're annoying either.

I want the people in my life to be happy. I like making my dumb jokes and letting the people I care about know that them existing matters to me. I feel like I'm a failure, even though it probably has almost nothing to do with me.

I don't think I was ever mean or demanding to them, but I can't help but think I'm partially responsible for any pressure they may have been going through. We weren't like super close but I still feel really sad.

idk man the opposite direction of what I was trying was the first thing that came to mind when how I did it didn't work. It turns out the third one is most common (at least, among my other followers)
