That's one thing abt CVS that I despise & it makes my husband nuts that he can't reach them by phone. But we have to pass it to get to almost anywhere so I just stop if I have a problem. The other thing I despise is the push to do auto refills. NO goddammit I can keep track of my own meds just fine.

š¬ what the hell?!? Thatās a criminal offense in my book. We dumped Walgreens years ago bc theyāre always swamped & gave my husband bad some bad info.
Mineral PT Rd has the crankiest pharmacist. Fitchburg had a new one who was a bumbling youngster. Plus I hate driving there. Cottage Grove was ok.

What is it with CVS and cranky pharmacists? Iāve been to a couple w/awful ones but the head pharmacist (Jason) in Middleton is really nice & helpful. As are all of the staff Iāve interacted w/there. Unfortunately I got Pfizer & they donāt carry them there. Which is why Iāve been to other stores.

My husband says that they did this so they could write off the whole damn wedding.

I would never have spoken to the organizers of this abomination and would, in fact, have researched a situationally specific hex just so I could curse them for all eternity.

They kept thanking us for coming. š
We love our daughter-in-law so much and she was really close to her grandparents so it was a no-brainer for us to decide to go.

Oh yeah it is one of my faves but maybe not the best for a 13-14 year old. Though I was never strict about policing music or art or books. Only about mature video games bc of the violence. And we would just watch movies with them and, for the most part, deal with whatever questions as they came up.

Nope. To a memorial service for the grandparents of our daughter-in-law. So a sad occasion but it was good to see our daughter-in-lawās family again.

One of my fave albums too! Iāll have to watch this.
My younger son has long been a fan of the Queens & when this album came out out, I became hooked on them too. I had to acquire their whole discography & I had a bad mom moment when I realized how young he was when heād started listening to them. š¬

Maebel can be such a sweet cat when she wants to be but holy crap she can be a little monster to me. She once lit into me w/her nails when I shut the patio door on her. She gets cranky when her people are gone & sheās stuck w/grandma for the week.
Hereās a sweet photo of her from a few years ago.

She is just crabby enough that she would be pleased to know that.
This photo is from last week when I was cat sitting. I accidentally woke her from her royal slumber.
I have been cat sitting her for 5+ years and every single time I do, we will have a moment or two like this.

One of mine used to pat my eyelids or sometimes lick them. Another one would sleep on my pillow and then either lick my hair or start walking on it. I had long hair at the time and it was definitely a factor in my decision to go back to super short hair.

Maebel, one of my sonās cats, is Queen of the Loomers. She doesnāt attack you or anything like that but you feel like if she were in a castle and you were a peasant down below, she wouldnāt think twice about pouring hot oil on your head.

My sons, who are both in therapy, say that they feel everyone could use some therapy. And some need it much more than others.

It was just a cheap BIC pencil that I found while working at the library but it feels right in my hand & I HAD to find it! I was so happy I was able to think back to where I last had it so that I could.
The absolute worst feeling is when I canāt remember where I took off a pair of fave earrings. š¬

If I didnāt have my 18 mo old granddaughter nearbyāwho is even more of a goddamned delight than I amāIād be sunk into the pits of despair by now. But her innocent face & clever curiosity & her happy grin when she sees me keep me going. Bc her future just HAS to be better than what this is right now.

Yup. I donāt watch many horror films but Iāve been reading horror for a couple of years & get so sucked into those. However my favorite style is dystopian horror so that can be too realistic. Then itās time so switch back to either urban fantasy (another fave) or a witchy novel (always distracting!)

I just checked that book out of the library this week! Iām not sure I can handle it right now with all of the BS going on and the bone spur bozoās parade coming up but Iām going to try!
