Missiles will probably costa lot more than teh drones, no let them shoot away.

i wonder if this is no so much reducing Ukrainian support, but the need to defend US assets from Iran if nuclear talks fail and bombing begins...

terrorist attacks - absolutely, attacking the bombers that terrorise Ukrainian civilians...

i'm surprised they are releasing all this information so soon and so publicly.
comment in response to post
I bet they are! - maybe a ceasefire wouldn't have been such a bad idea Mr Putin, eh?

there are only a few main crossings of the Volga, blow those and all the factories in the centre and far East of russia hove their logistics wrecked for months.

China is playing the role the US did for so long. trying to maintain this war with no one winning as it divides the West and weakens Europe while making a boat load of money in the process..
comment in response to post
basically a cruise missile, but on the cheap
comment in response to post
i think it had quite a bit of work still to do one floating, so unlikely it was armed yet

its not like anyone can live in them anyway. unexploded ordinance, mines, and the people who used to live there now live in the Western regions and i doubt would come back, many probably overseas.

someone in the supply chain knew, its not like there is a huge market where you can buy these things. #Boeing ought to sack the supplier...

question is - how much - are these affordable, or more like the American made switchblade 600, overpriced and therefore like hens' teeth?
comment in response to post
surely its easier to stop it on the way out anyway, further from russia.....

cough, Finland, cough, Norway, cough.....
comment in response to post
but, russia can continue to lob missiles and drones at Ukraine at a far greater date than ukraine can fire back - if that were made more equal, this war would stop.
comment in response to post
If Hungary actually started a war, they would lose so hard it would not be funny. I cannot imagine anyone letting that one slide even if Ukraine couldn't send them packing in 5 days...
comment in response to post
I WOULD SEND HUNDREDS OF DUMMY DRONES JUST TO USE UP THEIR MISSILES....
comment in response to post
you've done some incredible work.
comment in response to post
using FPV drones - seems a smart way to deal with them tbh.
comment in response to post
i disagree, it could one of so many of the US Administration......

it really Wanted Kharkiv and Odesa as much too
comment in response to post
if that is true, then russian AD really is shite, can't hit a helicopter at that range is like cant hit a barn door...
comment in response to post
Correct, but short sellers make a fortune.or is that short buyers , you know what I mean anyways.
comment in response to post
you missed out, 'massive global economic downturn' leading to a depression....
comment in response to post
fore starters, if you have a massive trade deficit, it may be because US consumes too much? secondly, poor countries cannot afford lots of US goods, but can make simple things (T shirts?) cheaply. thirdly, capitalism. - your big companies outsource to buy cheaper and make more profit.

i would like to believe they are starting to get it, but their actions so far suggest this is just banal drivel to placate the Europeans...

'rare earths' are not rare at all, mostly. they are just usually in such low concentrations its not economic to process them. Now people know their value i suspect that more and more places will appear that have them.
comment in response to post
is there a huge store of legacy bombs being used, or are they manufacturing them at that rate new now?
comment in response to post
took me 3 seconds. the problem is nowadays, satire, April fools and reality are interchangeable....

WHY THEY HAVEN'T DONE THIS FOR RUSSIAN GOODS ALREADY IS BEYOND ME?
comment in response to post
the bigger impact surely, is the cost of lost exports. it is said that the oil pumping station exported 1.7m barrels oil per day. don't know if that is true, or whether the oil can be easily re-directed, but if not, that is a lot of money lost in exports.
comment in response to post
loaded with ammo.... i guess...

parked out in the open. in range of GMLRS. what the hell did they expect to happen...
comment in response to post
sloppy leaving them parked up like that tbh!
comment in response to post
you know, they could just cut the pipeline IN Ukraine if they wanted?
comment in response to post
The EU should respond by recognising Alaska as russian territory.....
comment in response to post
strikes me that mines and mine deliver systems to stop 'meat assaults', low cost air defences and capacity to build 1000 long range attack drones per day would be a start. MAD without nukes, plus ability to close baltic/black sea exports will make russia think twice. after that, AI missiles/drones

i read its like up to 5 km of fibre on a 1.25kg spool, so not really
comment in response to post
could it be Iran? seems very dry and dusty to be western russia?
comment in response to post
i'd assume a huge swathe of underwater mines so many it would flood the Taiwan straight would slow them all down. seabed base defences need to be long prepared in advance
comment in response to post
to be fair, knowing what happens to russian 'wounded' i may well be tempted to ask a comrade to finish me quickly if i had be blown up by a mine. mercy killing?
comment in response to post
looks like it just caught the side of it, missed the centre. for soft target would get away with it, but wouldn't damage armour like that. development still in process i suspect.
comment in response to post
will be read/dealt with by 'PA's, but funny either way :D
comment in response to post
russi taking advantage - surely not. unless i see Trump turn around, i'll just assume its crocodile tears and/or faux outrage. what the hell did he expect if you reduce/remove Ukraine's ability to spot attacks and defend itself....
comment in response to post
doesn't treason still carry the death penalty as an option?

#Hungary. a county smaller than any of the Baltic states, where much of the population is declining and has nothing much of anything still wagging the dog.

how much is simply because other manufacturers have caught up and Tesla's first mover advantage is long gone and now there are many alternatives, some much better cars? this was inevitable to some degree anyway IMO. ITS A CAR COMPANY. not a tech company.

there is a part of me that thinks the guy is simply deranged and the ultimate narcissistic people pleaser, wanting to make everyone love him

didn't rjssia confiscate a bunch of Oneweb satellites too?
