this is about as strongly as i have ever disagreed with one of your posts

theres no set order of rounds, so you often find yourself waiting on another player activating a certain tactical. the win condition of 10 victory points also makes the game end a lot less sudden, but surprise victories are still possible. ive played dune maybe 4 times, and ti around 20 plays

i have a hard time finding comparison points between them honestly, they're very different games. the factions are less unique than in dune, but you have a lot more control over how you develop over the course of the game. ti combat is more game-y, but the action cards are quite similar in both

transformers can also be cooled with radiators and fans though, also typically these days oil cooled transformers have to sit on top of some kind of big gravel pit with a deep foundation that surrounds it to contain the oil in case of equipment failure/fires
comment in response to post
that transformer is oil cooled, same as an oil cooled pc, a bunch of internal parts are suspended in an non-conductive oil that cycles up into that tank to cool back down

green is a cvt, purple is a potential transformer, red is a transformer (fairly low voltage, its p tiny), blue is a switch (really two switches stacked). i was a drafter and physical designer for substations for like 8 yrs, lemmme know if u need any specifics

i'm not really doing anything special, just photosourced textures for the bananas and fish (from wikimedia commons) and some simple graphic design for the chips and pizza (using fonts from @chequered.ink's fantastic 1200 font pack), modeling in blender, and loaded into godot for my game

similar to the @gil-lawson.bsky.social game goblin america, where the text is all physically rendered individual letters that scatter around the environment when you're done talking

you may not be conciously playing blue prince but given its scope, i think its possible that you are currently involved in one of its puzzles

if you support this shit you're a monster, go into fucking hermitage and do some self reflection; and certainly never say jack shit about any kind of liberties you deserve ever again, you don't understand what you're saying, leave it to someone who thinks.

i always see the advice to go the opposite way. skeletons of systems in place first, then focus on content and assets. but i agree with u completely. when i have a clear idea of what a scene will ultimately look like or feel like, it makes getting there so much easier
