I’ve been waiting for this! I watched the last week of it after getting hyped up by you and it was awesome. Thanks, again!

In the abstract, a former prisoner focused on prisoner rehabilitation is actually a great thing. I’m sure, of course, somehow this will be bad as is the way.

Texas did get screwed on two different steal attempts—one of which resulted in the TTU run. So just🧊

My memory of this is terrible. It definitely didn’t center on them at all. I think it was just one of them in a tertiary role but then I looked it up and it linked to the Mitford sisters. Maybe a reference in the Bletchley Circle? I don’t think I’m gonna be able to place it.

I’m not really disagreeing with the idea “Flacco is of little use” just saying he’s probably of more use than Pickett in several ways.

I hadn’t heard about this! I did a deep dive on the Mitford sisters a while back for some TV related reason that I can’t remember—please remind me if you know—and they seemed so fascinating.

The parallels to the word salads many Christians perform when they say grace and AI slop are stark.

My only point is that it would seem better to have a veteran as a mentor and potentially a spot starter than a failed prospect. Pickett isn’t going to help develop a young QB whereas Flacco might (at least a little) and Atlanta would be more likely to win a game when Flacco plays than Pickett.

Questions: 1. Does the Cleveland QB room make a lot more sense if it was always a play to get Cousins? 2. Wouldn’t Flacco be better for Atlanta than Pickett (as ESPN’s article suggests?) Or, maybe even trade both to Atlanta?

It’s also dumb because it’s very inside baseball/extremely online. Sure it might make Republican officials squirm, but does even 10% of the population know what it means AND all the requisite context?

Slightly lost in this discussion of the old way: It wasn’t just paper maps (and trip ticks) in place of GPS: People asked for and gave directions.

Yeah. There are some Apple shows that I think are duds (The Morning Show, The Last Thing He Told Me, Surface) but if you were to randomly pick a show from a streamer, Apple is absolutely the best bet—they’ve chosen quality of quantity. And, they are pretty awful at promoting so lots of hidden gems
