If you're not running Foundry on a distributed block chain with smart contacts for dice rolls, you're literally a caveman.

All it takes is for one case to set the legal precedent and then it all comes tumbling down. Hopefully Disney doesn't settle and keeps their foot on the gas.

Possibly! Have to see if it's within our capabilities to print in house first! But honestly the experience with not worrying about printing and publishing might just be a nice change of pace 🫠

Same. Chocolate cake shake I need it. When I lived in AZ our friend Chicago dragged us to the grand opening of Portillos in there. Had to wait 2-3 hours but a damn good hot dog.

Leading us all through this hellish ordeal is @noblemannick.bsky.social, who we've stolen from Gahenna Gaming explicitly to torture us. I am beginning to doubt his nobility though.

THND is a slow burn and focuses on how the lives of neighbors and three families have been explicably changed by the construction of an evil house. You won't get up to the same levels of horrifying as TMIW but it's a great read from start to finish.

TMIW is a great read, it's a pretty graphic read but a thoughtful one. I didn't understand the current political climate of UK so somethings went over my head that I needed to learn about in hindsight. The main focus of TMIW is transphobia and its core to its theme so consider that before diving in.

Sure. WotC might not need to worry about covering initial development costs, but your smaller publishers are the ones feeling the hurt the most.

This is incorrect though, TTRPGs live and die on slim profit margins and if the costs of rising print costs (double or even more) are forcing us to print in smaller batches or not at all. Then we need to price our PDFs accordingly to help cover those initial development costs.

No one is saying they shouldnt be cheaper than a physical copy.

But giving a PDF alongside hardcover purchases is a practice I personally like going forward. The PDF at that point is just really a reference point and the person has already bought in. I know that's not for everyone, but that's my feelings on it.

Absolutely, I think PDF should cost roughly 40% of what the print would be to still ensure that a designer is not losing out on sales for PDF (calculating the often 60% we lose on physical because of printing and shipping).

What's your seeking price for rent? In Philly, if you go to the northern regions you can get most rent between 1 and 1.5k, with some dropping down to like below 1k if you don't mind getting a smaller place.
Also like preferred amount of bedrooms etc
