Every single day, like clockwork, another @nytopinion.nytimes.com piece telling Americans, if you dare to notice that you’re all sick, and that maybe the food and pharma companies don’t always have your best interests at heart, you will plunge us into a pandemic! www.nytimes.com/2025/03/19/o...

Would it be so terrible to acknowledge that this is a good thing? @elizabeth-warren.bsky.social @corybooker.com @nytopinion.nytimes.com www.nytimes.com/2025/03/11/h...

Nope. Stop election denying. This is bad and if Dems ever want to be in power again, they will rue the day they acted like the other side’s win was illegitimate!

Please stop using the phrase "low information voters." I beg you.

Ivy Leagues love to admit people who write essays about how they are leaders who don't follow the norms and are going to change the world because of how special they are then get shocked when they have campus activism.

It is perfectly ok to say you support trans people and their right to access medical care and their right to exist and be safe, and also to acknowledge that those assigned male at birth people have an advantage over others in sports. Refusing to yield on anything makes trans people LESS SAFE.

@aoc.bsky.social plz go on Rogan.

Right and then in 2024, you voted unanimously to confirm a Secretary of State who voted to repeal the ACA.

Please stand up for students and others losing their jobs or visas over political protests on campuses, or stupid banal things they say when they’re teenagers. @aoc.bsky.social . If you want to draw a contrast with Rs on this, ok bet, let’s do it.

American artists and comedians, not American arms dealers, will bring peace on earth.

Dems must exploit this. Drive a wedge between these factions. Make the Republicans be the party of Bannon and nativism. Dems are pro immigration, pro innovation, future oriented, anti war. @chrismurphyct.bsky.social @gavinnewsom.bsky.social @democrats.org www.nytimes.com/2025/03/09/u...

Getting so many ads and requests to donates from democrats @chrismurphyct.bsky.social @aoc.bsky.social. Why are we constantly donating and giving our time? $ in exchange for immigration reform and public option, and cap and trade. And getting chemicals out of our food & water. Deal?

Pls read my replies.

@peterbakernyt.bsky.social just an fyi, I appreciated the NYT editorial on speech today, but if you look at my replies on this account - you will see that I was accused of being a nazi and a troll for merely questioning whether it made sense for the US to continue funding the war in Ukraine.

@warren.senate.gov good faith q for you. what is the progressive position on solving agency capture? We acknowledge agencies are captured by lobbyists & corps. On the other hand, it is a constitutional crisis to fire federal workers. How do you solve capture without gutting agencies? Ethics rules?

You tried to tell us food was expensive bc of was greedy corporations (when it was inflation). Now it’s greedy Trump. Actually it’s corp consolidation combined with family farmers can’t survive = food supply vulnerable to price shocks/ shortages. @podsaveamerica.crooked.com #demsstopmockingvoters.

@democraticparty.bsky.social you’re trying to hit Trump with the price of eggs thing, but it’s because there’s a shortage caused by bird flu. Too bad govt policies have killed family farms and we can only get our food from corporate chains. But go ahead keep mocking raw milk/local food advocates.

Do @democrats.org really believe their voters don’t have a clue about what inflation means? You guys, during Trump and then, yes, during Biden, the government massively expanded spending which means that the government drives up demand, which increases prices. No one is tricked by the eggs thing!

The 2024 campaign was a disaster and has left us completely exposed and vulnerable to climate disaster and crushing inequality. Blame the captain whose job it was to avoid the iceberg, not the iceberg.

You can’t take issues that people care desperately about: health care, climate, immigration, and tell America, we are your only option to fight for these things, and then fail to fight for or deliver those things, and still keep your job. Where is our public option? Where is our immigration reform?

@senatedem.bsky.social voted unanimously to confirm a top contender in the Republican primary in 2016 as SoS. Then, Senate Dems voted unanimously against a top contender for the D nomination in 2020. Does that make any sense?

Does anyone else remember when the Democrats in the Senate voted unanimously to confirm a Secretary of State who is anti-choice and voted to repeal the Affordable Care Act? That was odd. Especially after Kamala's campaign was focused on abortion to almost the exclusion of all other issues...

Exactly @newyorker.com except the people depicted below are the bosses with decision making power, when in reality the people getting fired are the workers who get coffee for the bosses, follow orders, take notes, are drowning in student debt, etc etc.

I wrote about how particularly ridiculous it is that Senate Democrats, led by Dick Durbin, think the priority should be repealing Section 230 and undermining the very open internet we need more than ever right now. www.techdirt.com/2025/02/21/w...

A metaphor: The @thedemocraticparty.bsky.social right now is like the Titanic has hit an iceberg, and instead acknowledging that he made a wrong turn (or perhaps resigning), the Captain is pushing everyone in steerage off the boat, while screaming at the iceberg. @podsaveamerica.crooked.com

Tragic seeing probationary workers in government lose their jobs, also incredibly upsetting to see mass layoffs at the @dncstaffunion.bsky.social . Why is it always the junior workers who get fired and never leadership that resigns? @thedemocraticparty.bsky.social @podsaveamerica.crooked.com

Programs like these are awesome and in a perfect world it would be possible for everyone to serve their local communities. But I still don’t understand why rank and file workers are bearing the brunt of this catastrophic Dem loss but Dem leadership remains. statescoop.com/federal-stat...
