NYT would typically be the first to point out the sexist discourse around “MAHA” moms, and yet somehow they’re the ones pushing it…. criticism and nuance surrounding our powerful medical industry is HEALTHY. Creating fear and ridicule around questioning or challenging authority is not.

Sigh. This is incredibly misleading bc it implies that the villain is RFK Jr and not the pharmaceutical companies, the food companies, the insurance companies, and all manner of lobbyists who rig the system to make Americans sick.

@katieporteroc.bsky.social I really hope this is misinfo!! If it’s true, please just offer voters a choice, why would you drop out? If Kamala wins fair and square, then drop out then.

I appreciate your perspective and wish you well.

It’s not about throwing trans people under the bus. This is a really small issue for trans people compared to how much it hurts them & empowers the right wing. It’s about protecting trans people from becoming a right wing lightning rod talking point.

You’re right about Congress, but the solution is to nuke the filibuster. We can’t keep going on like this where Congress gets nothing done. It’s a constitutional crisis for sure, but Trump is the symptom not the cause.

How does it make trans people safer overall to demand positions that have relatively little impact on the health or safety of trans people, and yet are deeply unpopular with the general electorate? Is it not ok to be a little bit pragmatic? Bc the alternative is a Trump presidency.

You're probably hearing from people who say don't bc he's anti LGBTQ. Ok yes he is. So go on and argue with him! Why are we letting all these voices go unchallenged? If you fail to engage with an argument you tacitly endorse it.

And by immigration, I mean legal immigration. Don’t keep people permanently undocumented. Also populism is not a bad word.

Why does Zelensky get more air time and input with democratic politicians than Democratic Party voters get?

Read the polls about the popularity of Congress and D leadership @aoc.bsky.social. And remember that the polls consistently under-poll Trump, so add plus points for T to whatever polls say. This is not about burning down govt, it is about compromise bt populists and estblmt for a livable society.

Play possum about Trump, like Carville is saying. Direct your fire towards the people who failed to stop Rs from winning. Do not form a coalition with Congressional Rs against Trump.

This is useful. But the "tea party" within the left is not people who want to burn down govt, it is merely people who want the D pltfrm to go back to Obama-era: anti-war, pro-market solutions to enviro externalities, pro-legal immigration, embracing speech, religion, comedy, art. @aoc.bsky.social

Also is the term “disarmament” really appropriate? Are we at war? See the problem is, Trump was elected because Trump convinced many voters who voted for Biden in 2020 to vote for him instead. So who do you suggest we take up arms against, the voters Dems need to win to win future elections?

you’re suggesting that our only choice is to unquestioningly follow the same incompetent people who have already led us off the cliff where… off of additional cliffs until the end of time? Playing dead would be better than marching blindly along after our current dem leaders.

It is merely a recognition of the mandate that Trump has and the voters’ resounding rejection of Dems. @democraticparty.bsky.social Rather than continue infighting, maybe Dem leaders who orchestrated the loss should resign? #resignnancyandchuck

Actually, scratch that, I was accused of these things for merely questioning the narrative that some accounts seem to be promoting that Russian interference caused Trump to win in 2024.
