Even in the more well-received comic follow up they downplay it. It's the save Chloe ending but they're like "We can't know *for sure* if that storm was your fault." From there act like Max didn't fucking kill Chloe's mom and everyone else in town when Chloe begged her not to.

Come on bro please buy the $70 game. Please just do it $80 isn't even that much accounting for inflation. I promise you just buy the $90 game and devs can afford a mortgage I swear.

I know journalism has always had problem with misinformation. But it seems like we're at a whole new level with how often they let guys get away with half-remembering sci-fi movies and calling it a fact.

I guess reading @parismarx.com's book kinda put me in a bubble, because I'm shocked to see the same "Driverless cars are inherently safer than human drivers." line in 2025.

Doesn't seem credible at all. The headline said she won but the article just uses a bunch of circumstancial speculation to say she "may have." Like "Kamala had such big crowds how could she lose?" And "Trump said Musk was an expert on voting machines." They don't link to any sources either.

Oh the way they hate that they have to drive into downtown Detroit to see a Tigers game.

I saw some guy saying people were whining about a $10 increase after 20 years and that's just so wrong. It's a $20 (or 33%) increase after maybe 3-5 years.

I know I've done my fair share of bitching that the price of film doubled between 2018 and 2022.

I realize now that they're trying to recreate the experience of being a boss who has his assistant pick out his wife's anniversary presents. But I still can't get over how dumb it is they're acting like manually ordering something from an app isn't already stupid baby easy and convenient.

It reminds me of how people were pitching NFTs as certificates to prove people had certain skills.

The Verge article said they intend on dumping most of the debt onto the TV network section, so that's not a good sign for CN and Adult Swim.

of people telling you to use an "AI" app instead of going to lawyer or insurance after a car crash.
Fake influencer videos telling you to buy Domino's "viral" pizza.
Chopped up clips of Andrew Tate with a deepfaked voice telling you the government sent out $6500 checks and you need to claim yours

I've been feeling hard that even Instagram is pushing out normal people. Most of my friends don't even post selfie/pic of my lunch stuff anymore. It's 90% reposting other people's TikToks and posts from content mills in their Stories.

I mean considering a cop just killed another cop only a couple days ago, you're probably right.

I wanna watch OK KO but it's exhausting to look at. It's even more frustrating because they did a bunch of shorts before the show and there were two or three better art styles they could've given it.

I don't get it. What are they even announcing? Is it getting remastered or ported to a new platform? Did they just get paid to remind everyone the game exists?

Aside from semantic drift being annoying in general, it really irritates me that people throwing gooner around so much is associating any kind of sexuality or horniness with a freak show edging all day to porn on 4 different monitors.

Tbh I intend to defer to Itch and GOG for future purchases, but those are valuable because even though they're missing a lot of Steam's features, they have their own unique offerings that make them worthwhile.
EGS and publisher-exclusive launchers don't. They just suck. Deal with it.

My main experience with non-Steam launchers is that I buy a game on Steam, I'm forced to install the Ubisoft/EA/2K launcher, forced to make an online account and forced to interact with the launcher which half the time breaks my game somehow.

Forbidden not as in "against the rules," but as in "This is very dangerous so teacher said only use it in emergencies."
