Great news! I hope this drug does not become a panacea as can happen with a new treatments. There are some concerns about sarcopenia which can also happens with a "hard" diet. How many people will have the discipline to regain muscle mass, an important predictor of health outcomes as we age?

Please show article link. The NYT diagram I found which is nearly identical compares CPUs to GPUs and has nothing to do with quantum.

Yes I also went to search the article.

I don't know if the good vibe will last as it grows. Only AI/LLMs can probably do the moderation at scale in future.

I think the law can lead but it can't be too far ahead of consensus because no gain is permanent. Laws can be undone.

I have read that a C.I.A. media analyst named Martin Gurri has argued that politics (and everything else IMO) has been changing due to media and information going from scarce to abundant. This change was has some benefits such as this thread has created a angry universe that favours destruction.

IMO beyond the perennial baseline problem of science communication, we have been witnessing a changes in human behaviour which possibly became apparent earlier to some people in science but affects all endeavours.

The comparison is problematic because scientists are generally not subject to levels of violence and many other injustices I will not list here but that you can surely imagine. All kinds of federal government employees have been subject of these firings.

I will be thrilled to be wrong. Unfortunately one also needs to consider perception and not just reality these days.

Unfortunately not surprising that south of here people with no/poor medical care will feel like "not my problem none of these treatments will ever benefit me". Here some will ask why spend money on research when I can't get GP. Better think up a good answer and/or be catalyst for that change.

We need a made in Canada finder on our phones. I imagine it'd work like a stud finder and beep when you get closer. Maybe have CDN manufacturers add QR codes. Otherwise I will need to bring my reading glasses to stores.
