Hello @wotcmatt.bsky.social ! A question about Overburden triggering condition. Clearly it triggers when you cheat creatures into play since "a player puts" condition is met. But does Overburden trigger when a creature spell resolves? 302.2 says "controller puts" while 608.3a uses "it enters"...

My first arena #mtgaetherdrift draft with UB tempo artifacts 💧💀. Went 5-3 with two non-games on my side. Haven't had a good combo win in limited in a while, so on curve Packdoll Terror + Haunt the Network copied with Slick Imitator felt extra good.

#mtgAetherdrift prerelease impressions: 😩 Similarly to FDN the color distribution in packs is bad: 2 of 3 pools I opened had one color with ~10 cards. Opening only 2 common creatures and 6 (!) cards of interaction in blue was devastating 💣 Not enough removal for bombs 🏁 Speed can be fun actually!

Hello @wotcmatt.bsky.social Please help clarify this: Graftdigger's Cage and Manifest Dread. Cage stops manifest, how many cards go to GY? 701.60a (manifest dread rule) sais "put the rest into your gy". It's not obvious if "the rest” refers to “the other” or “all that remains of that set”.
