Oh lord. So it's not just me!
I especially hate when there's something I have to do is actually out in the garage and then I go out there and find a couple of other things that need doing and come back in and realize that I have to go back out there again so I've made the complete circuit twice!

This must be the morning for dental visits. Two members of my Roses for the Soul text group were seeing their dentists today and both were cringing and asking for support! I really rather eat dirt than go to the dentist!

My mom always planted miniature marigolds. These days I'm definitely allergic to them so I can enjoy this photo very much since I can't enjoy the flowers!

YouTube is the most amazing resource, isn't it? I repaired my 1995 dishwasher by myself after using YouTube and finding the old manual for it online.

If we don't laugh we're going to cry, and this made me laugh.

You reminded me... When I was a teenager I used to go out and lie on the grass on summer evenings and stare at the stars, as the feeling, "I came from there!" swept over me. We are made of stardust.

Wow! Why are there fantastic songs like this that I just don't think about in forever, and forget to add to my playlist?

Good morning. Great song. Butter is a separate food group. Unfortunately my waistline means that I've had to go to the lite whipped butter, but it still has to be real!

I lived in the South for 3 years. I'm trying to unlearn my bad vegetable habits but, damn! They were good.

You know, when I was growing up (yeah, back when we all rode stegosauruses to school), to "ice out" someone meant to turn your back on them, totally ignore them, make them feel invisible and despised. I'd really like to ice out ICE.

Ted, please tell me why you put super glue all over your chin and then roll around in the clippings at the foot of the barber's chair.

Actually, those dads should get their kudos on Mother's Day, because they are being both mom and dad.

Yes, Ivana is buried in a grave that is essentially completely untended, covered with weeds, so that he can get a tax write-off on his golf course.

I don't disagree. As a matter of fact in 2022 I wrote a long and thoughtful essay and posted it to my blog about that very fact.
Still we had a sense of greatness at times. We seemed to be moving in the right direction with acceptance and reparations and acknowledgment. Now we are moving backwards
