It's the only ass you can be and be totally happy. It's sweet to be an idiot.

I knew from my first Sunday school at age 5. This pastor was supposedly "wise", yet every word was an obvious lie. My father was diminished intellect - on purpose. Alcoholic. Hated phantoms and delusions. His friends were like background actors from "Deliverance". Lied to in high school, college.

This means I can't express anger when it's merited, or use it to create change or even just let it out. I don't blame my mother, she had a hysterectomy at 30 and became a stranger. Dad was an emotional cripple and alcoholic. I just wish I had control of my emotions, not some crisis aversion system.

Any outburst by me, and I would be met with physical punishment. This would cause me confusion and more anger, thus more punishment. I was 10 before it sunk in that I had to internalize it, and suffocate it. Now as an adult, I can't get really angry, or stay angry. Automatic fire suppression.

It's so ironic that the MAGAts love socialist systems. Armed forces make no profit and have cost trillions, allegedly to protect everyone. Police to protect their toys, which gets paid by those who get no benefit. ICE is a fiscal loser.

Ironic, yes. Anxiety meds' number one side effect is anxiety. Medication for Tourette's can cause tics. Coffee makes me drowsy. I sleep best right after my Adderall dose. It regulates a messed up neurochemistry, and relaxes many. I slept even better with Dexedrine. Affects us all differently.

Freedom itself can be scary. When someone else controls things, it has a twisted kind of comfort to it. Once you are truly free - there's no boundaries, no limit to what you can do except your imagination. That's scary. It's also exhilarating and exciting.

I wish I could rationalize it for her. Right now, she sees the hospital as long ago, and her control absolute. This happens way too often. For her mother, it took us saving her from ECT (shock therapy) in the psych ward, to wake her up. I don't want to go that far twice.

With the bipolar variety in this whole family, they seem to develop amnesia during manic and depressive episodes. Wife forgets now that she needs meds to manage highs and lows. She forgets the positives during the depression. She's now convinced she can handle it. She can't.

Art is creation. It's producing something inspirational or emotional. You've just been pivoting to the media of words. When the inspiration hits you, you'll change formats again.

I've thought long and hard on that. For example, if you had a time machine, would going back and removing the evil people make a difference? Not really. In Trump's orbit, there are even worse people than him, just less charismatic. Him gone, a Miller or a Vance takes over. You'd be busy killing 24/7

ICE is only targeting people of colour. So far, these yahoos are happy with whose faces the leopards are eating. They aren't yet at a point where they can imagine it being them instead. It's never, ever been about freedom for all. They just don't like being told what to do.

Fuuuuck yeah. They're lucky Temu doesn't have any trebuchets in my budget. I can just imagine yelling from the trebuchet as I pull the cord: "Take baaaack your deeeead!!"

Don't feel bad. On a busy thread, or busy poster, it can be almost impossible to give energy and time equally to all. Sometimes, just a ♥️can show you saw and recognize them.

Libertarian is pretty much synonymous with fascist. They want to pay nothing and have all the amenities of modern society. That requires being part of a ruling class, with a slave/serf class beneath. They've always been for freedoms for them, not us.

I always get an eye roll (they think I don't see. I see.) when I try the "my main fault is I try too hard." Last few times, I've said that ADHD is both my strength and weakness. Once I get to explain, it helped me maybe 20 percent of time, which is 20 percent more than the alternatives.

I truly appreciate the suggestions and kind words of support. I will attempt to integrate this mantra into my psyche. I've been able to before. Successful ones include: "Not my circus, NOT my monkeys." "We cannot know what trauma this person is working through. Be kind. Show mercy."

It's so useless! Intellectually, I don't give a rats ass about their opinion. Then, the RSD hits. Sick in the pit of my stomach. I resisted. Just said "sorry, I thought this was a public thread". Inside, a turmoil.

Quiet resistance is admirable.

Document it all when those two finally get caught for altering all the election totals. This will end up in the court records, and school textbooks so hopefully it never happens again.

They don't want white employers with white lawyers being charged. This is a terror campaign, designed to assault the poor and middle class in blue states.

My most hated interrogatives. Job interviews and social banter are always uncomfortable. Agonizing might be a better term. The context is the key to any answer. The question "tell us what your biggest weakness is?" puts me in a panic. You don't tell your darkest fear/secret. I always screw up that.

I'd like to believe you, but I see no spines. We now live in a space where invertebrates abound.

Right now is the perfect opportunity for reformists and progressives everywhere to step forward and speak the truth. With paralysis taking out all levels of liberal government, anyone courageous enough to go toe-to-toe with the right could become the popular candidate.

Oh, what a terrible, misguided view. Immigration law has never been "morally just". It has always made the immigrant, unless they were of a group the country liked, a wholly biased and racist filtration. Look how Diaper Don allows white monsters, and keeps brown good people away. Revisionist shit.

To genuinely hate as strongly as he does, you have to isolate from new ideas and truth about your entire flawed existence. Isolation gets you a Miller. He holds no truth, and speaks only to build his hate. He hears no alternative. He is dead inside due to self-poisoning.

Look - after you all build the guillotines and purge this asshole, some things you can do come to mind. Start by interviewing each white, trashy fuckwad in military and civil service. A lot, well all - but do it. Attack electrodes to their junk. Anyone gets even a little hard to Trump, fire them.

Why,thank you! I'm blushing. I think my words come from my truth. People find truth ugly when they are ugly inside, and beautiful when their core comes from the truth. Narcissists hate the truth. Autistics and other ND either are indifferent, or build their existence around asking and giving truth.

Something they used to beat out of us (I speak from experience) is that a painful truth is ALWAYS better than the kindest lie. I'm happy to see truth hold such strength. How many of the evils we witness now would have no hold if everyone held truth with such conviction?!?
