This episode was a gut punch. The guest was so well-selected. It’s hard for anyone to make an argument this it’s okay to lose an entrepreneur like her. And her candor - brutal. I’ll be thinking of this episode for a long time. I hope she finds great European distribution.

I took four years of Latin and both AP exams. In addition to those exams contributing to the 15 credits I took into college, Latin is the reason I got a 5 on the AP English Language exam and it was the reason I got the SAT score that got me a full tuition scholarship to my state university.

But you recognize the comment I was directly replying to said if the historian listens to the people etc? Except enough of those people said his initial take was fine. So merely listening to the people isn’t useful advice at all. I’m not disagreeing with removing the post. Just her logic.

The problem with this take is that there were plenty of (ostensibly and, recognizing no one was confirming IDs, purportedly) Black folks in the comments who felt the post was perfectly fine for Kevin to make. I’m fine with him backing it out, but there wasn’t consensus from the people in question.

It really does not. Kayfabe has nothing to do with mixed martial arts. Unless you also think boxing has kayfabe, I guess. Dana White is an asshole and being his comms director might be meaningful, but MMA and pro wrestling are very different. Ask Brock Lesnar.
