MTG should be told, "Grok, as President Elon Musk has told us, deals with facts, and facts don't care about your feelings."

I love the way you presented this point.

I am convinced that "traditionalists", in particular the male converts to Catholicism among them, are motivated by misogyny, believing they are entitled to free domestic labor. And the women of that movement want to police other women into subservience. It's about control, not the joy of life.

The corollary to this: if you want to be part of a true Christian path, join a church that has full equality for women.
Join a church that have women in the clergy at all levels.

Religion is a balance between ideology and relationship. Being fully online, ideology dominates. Christianity is not just a set of beliefs, i.e. propositions; it's a primarily a communal experience.

Didn't happen under Reagan, didn't happen under Bush, didn't happen under the first Trump administration, and it won't happen now.
It's always been a ruse to roll back the progress since the dawn of the 20th century.

Those who were paying attention saw this coming. The institutions had multiple chances to stop this and they didn't take any of those options. Voters failed to acknowledge the obvious. And now both the Congress and the Courts aren't doing enough.

It's the Israeli proxies in the US disappearing college students and trying to crush free speech that are making Jews unsafe.

The Cuban community lacks empathy when it comes to the plight of other groups, especially other Latino groups.

A thriving middle class made all this possible. With the neoliberalism that started with Reagan, all of this was slowly undermined, and now, all of this is collapsing. The angry masses left behind from prosperity & the short-sighted decided the fascist vibes would be better than the status quo.

6 of them wanted this for sure. Everyone else with eyes and ears knew exactly what would happen with those rulings. If Trump destroys SCOTUS, then the court only have themselves to blame.

1) Giving a President full immunity gave Trump protection for illegal acts.
2) Reinterpreting the 14th Amendment allowed Trump to run.
They had off ramps ... and they failed to take them. And now the road of democracy has ended at a cliff.

The blowback will be to double down on disappearing college kids and stripping free speech rights. Nothing will be done on guns but thoughts and prayers.

The assassin is a terrorist by definition, but he didn't attack Jews in general ... just two specific individuals because of the state they represented.

This doesn't make it right, but this wasn't an antisemitic attack. This was a targeted attack against Israeli diplomats. The way it's being framed is a pretext to increase the powers of the police state under the banner of "fighting antisemitism".

There likely will be blowback from the assassination of two Israeli diplomats, but people should know that Mossad routinely does this kind of thing around the World. The Russians do it (and people here recoil in horror) but when the CIA does it or the Israelis do it, it's just another day.

Most of the time a shooting in DC barely makes the headlines, because gun violence has been normalized. It's when rich people, powerful people, political people get hurt, the media cares.

When I washed dishes, I didn't get a damn dime from the wait staff. They pocketed all of it.

To put this in context, the Mossad routinely assassinate people in other countries. This was a targeted attack, not because those two were Jewish, but because they were Israeli.

Are you saying 60% of Catholics are like that insufferable right-wing uncle you only see at Thanksgiving who rants about conspiracy theories most of the evening?

Maybe he'll disband the order completely? Excommunicating the leadership with soft spoken words and a smile would be chef's kiss.

Reminds most people of Thanksgiving. There are the family you interact with but otherwise don't care about.

Architecture reflects the time in which it was built. It's only long after do most of us see what it means, because we are situated in the culture that shaped that style.

Labeling anti-Zionism as antisemitism will only breed resentment against American Jews. That resentment will get cranked to 11 when the US goes towards against Iran on behalf of of Israel.
