Who else will they escort? And when called to act against citizens as been done in CA what will they choose?

I've seen other posts that this comment from the dodgers is disingenuous. That raids had already happened that morning and used the stadium as a staging area, which once discovered suddenly became bad PR and so then there's this "denied entry" stuff.

Dance now and call it manifesting :) I'm gonna set way bigger goals than just surviving that idiotic turd - I've got kids to teach these life skills and they need the years to practice. I've got a lot of educating left to do before I go!

There aren't words for how much I'd like to argue with you and tell you you're wrong. I'd really like to. But you're not wrong.
We've doubled the garden this year. We'll likely have to double again next year. I don't know where we'll find the time.

Blocked on sight, reported as racist, fascist, toxic.

Books > internet on this sort of thing, agreed. It would have to become your full time job to manage growing enough food. Ours does well but still can't be our only food source. There's hardly time to cook from scratch either as much as we have to work.

Because dismissing her family not wanting this as a cost-savings measure rather than acknowledging that they wanted their daughter to be able to die with peace and dignity rather than treated like chattel is abhorrent and yes I have strong feelings about that. It's gross that you don't.

Because your position is abhorrent and yes I have strong feelings about that. Because opinions that suggest that the state treating this woman as an incubator is ok are abhorrent and yes I have strong feelings about that. Because what happens to one can happen to all and it merits defending her.

Not anymore now that it's been born. Assets are usually provided for, which the state will not do.

This. A million times this.
All these "oh but that's good" comments are vile and horrible and every single person spewing that trash needs to go ahead and openly confess to participating in the abuse, enslavement, and commoditzation of women, especially women of color.

That's the point... your opinion is all about what you'd want... all about what your agency would determine. She and her family were totally denied agency at all, and in large part because of the bullshit narratives others, people like you (not Biz), have imposed to deny agency.

This is also a mischaracterization. Adriana didn't have a pregnancy with some known terminal illness with time in advance to mull that over. She was denied emergency care and then after dying was used as an incubator for an unwell and unviable pregnancy and denied all agency, as was her family.

Emory U Hospital did not have to do this. They could have done right, quietly, in compliance with the family’s wishes. If the Georgia gov’t found out—well, Emory has enough resources to handle the legal battle. The hospital disgraced itself, and committed a grotesque abuse.

Simplest to assume they are not real law enforcement and act accordingly.

They did surveys at every entry point to the protests to find out where people were from? Amazing. How nice that people would be willing to wait in line to report to one of his idiots where they're from so it could be duly reported for the sake of TV. What a fuckwad.

Funny, I'd have said white christian nationalism and unchecked billionaire abusers are the greater threat to our nation.

The military *while in a military parade* did not even sit up straight passing him by. I wish him luck getting literally anyone else to bother "sitting up" for him. Such an asshat.

Fascinating, isn't it, how an actual domestic terrorist is treated humanely while peaceful protestors who aren't hurting anyone and are exercising their constitutional rights are openly and unapologetically assaulted.

Zero. Every protest will be accused of being paid and staged. Increased military occupation and state violence incoming. Increased rage tweeting chances 100% 😂

As opposed to not-operating hotels? Everything they do is stupid.

I'm not sure I understand why keeping a standing military for that long is something to celebrate. I'm not convinced they've known what powers and goals they truly serve.
