More than that, though, it's the characters. All are so superbly written that I fell in love with all of them and had my heart broken multiple times throughout my playthrough.
The writing is so rich and beautiful that I can't wait to see what the team at @expedition33.bsky.social does next!

The gameplay is also spectacular, borrowing from classic Final Fantasy/JRPGs while including modern gameplay (QTE/real-time reactions) and with a fairly robust character optimization system.

I finished ACT II tonight as a reward for a long week of work, and I'm just a mess.
Act III sometime this coming week when I'm not buried under a mountain of work! It's genuinely one of the best games I've ever played.

(I say, "real-life version of Grapes of Wrath" as if the Dust Bowl/Great Depression wasn't a real thing that happened.)

I enjoyed it, but I'm a big comic book nerd, YMMV. It's definitely top 10 Marvel for me.

I tried this. I think on Day 25ish the Billards Room math puzzle became way too hard for me to solve.

Genuinely, this film is my comfort movie.
(Raiders of the Lost Ark is close behind.)

It's the most overtly racist Bond film so far. It's surprisingly fun, but I just can't get past the exoticism, the stereotypes/harmful tropes, the othering, and the decision to put Bond in yellowface for no real reason.
