I’m no expert, but I expect that the Venn Diagram overlap between would be plumbers and LGBTQ grad students is smaller than some might think.

Was it, though? Or was it due to the huge economic advantages the US had following WWII, when all of its potential economic competitors were in ruins?

Actually, no. I am talking about female words and pronouns that incorporated male words and pronouns such as "she" (contains "he") and "women" (includes "men"). Some of my college classmates changed the spelling of "women" to "womyn" and used substitutes for "she" such as "ze."

All the way back in my college days in the latter half of the 1980s, people were arguing about pronouns, but it had nothing to do with transgender people and all to do with women's identity as not being subordinate to male identity, which goes to show that pronouns are about culture, not science.

Yeah. Jeffrey "Svengali" Goldberg used some Kabbalah incantations to trick Waltz into adding JG to the group chat. FFS!

Weird how many people commenting here don't seem to understand that the question about the English translation of "Lebensraum" was rhetorical, and that it was intended to associate Trump's comments with German ideology leading into WWII.

If Gabbard can't remember a text chain from a few days ago, maybe she lacks the mental capacity for the job of DNI. Or, she's just lying to Congress under oath.

Considering that Judge Boasberg attended St. Albans, Yale, and Yale Law School, it wouldn't be a surprise if he had "family money."

Someone needs to acquaint Mr. Homan with the US Constitution, specifically the "speech or debate" clause.

All I can say about that is the more I learn about cosmology, the more it becomes clear that the reality we can perceive in life does not provide a good analytical framework for understanding the universe. Similar to the parable of the blind men and an elephant.

Religionists claim the universe had a beginning because everything must have a beginning except god. This is a hypothesis from logic alone, rather than any evidence, which begs the question if something (e.g., god) can exist without a beginning, why can’t the universe exist without a beginning.

It’s not necessarily a specific belief. Rather, it is a hypothesis, the existence of which refutes the claim that only a god could be eternal.
