If I were a NYC voter, I'd not be ranking Mamdani... but this could nudge me closer. Puts the "gross" in "grocery store"

Yeah, and smaller populations tend to be more cohesive. Like the handful of MAGA-right people in my left/left-center town all know each other.

This drives me CRAZY. Steam has an old game (Kohan) that I really want to play, and I could play it fine back in 2001 on whatever non-gaming machine I had. But it's unplayable on my Windows 10 machine more than 20 years later... why?

When I get to my computer, I’ll bring up the rule and the two times it happened that I know of — one was Neal Allen coming in for Ron Guidry after Carney Lansford led off the game with a hit that injured Guidry. The other was when someone (Earle Combs?) came into the game for Babe Ruth in the WS

The rest of the world will develop them and the people in the United States, who can afford to obtain them will take them. The damage the administration is doing to its biggest supporters is boundless.

Also, he has plate discipline now? 17 BB (and 12 K) in only 124 PA coming into tonight's game -- that's a small sample size, but that's a 13.7% BB rate, nearly double his career mark (7.0%).

Yeah. We could very easily see an Adams, Silwa, Cuomo, Mamdani general

I found one poll -- lots of undecideds, though, and it also doesn't have a scenario where Cuomo loses the primary but stays in as a Random Third Party nominee. emersoncollegepolling.com/nyc-2025-poll/

This is such a key, underrated point. If you can disrupt daily life in Atlanta close to Election Day, you may be able to impact voter turnouts just enough to flip a Senate seat. And that's if you act with subtilty, which isn't a requirement for this administration.

Are the Haredis really going to dissolve the government just so a liberal coalition can win a majority and... also require ultra-Orthodox to serve in the IDF? Seems unlikely, no?

“We spend a lot on something already so it only makes sense to spend a lot more on something else!” is also a really silly (and dangerous) way to budget.

Taylor (and Siri when he's back) are way too good defensively to not start. With Vientos on the IL, I'd have McNeil 2B, Baty 3B, and Mauricio/Acuna on the bench.
