OK, after reading that, I had to go looking for Lou Christie’s version of “The Heart of Saturday Night”. It’s like you’re listening to a 33 RPM recording being played at 45. Make sure to listen all the way to the end to hear him finish on a high note youtu.be/yt6f-K7JCpw?...

Had this happen a couple times now with Thriftbooks. Unexpectedly got autographed copies of “You Only Rock Once” by Jerry Blavat and “Saving Yellowstone” by Megan Kate Nelson.

That’s from the 1959 Doyusha game set (JGA 5) in Engel. That’s Chico Barbon, a Cuban player who spent a number of years playing for Hankyu and worked for the team after his playing days were over

I have had that card for 25-ish years and never noticed it was misspelled before! I just checked and all the cards in that subset are misspelled. My favorite BBM misspelling, though, remains how they messed up "Titleist" in the 2017 Carp team set

Wrote my last high school English term paper on this. On Halloween a couple years ago, two trick-or-treaters came by dressed as Arthur and Concord. They were surprised I knew who they were.

Rewatching the original Star Trek and was surprised to learn that Roger C Carmel was only in his mid-30’s when he played Harry Mudd. Always looked older to me.
