Haha yes. Because what I've discovered after telling this short story to a bunch of people, is that the thing that joins the two is purpose. 🧘

Jag har en teori om att man tar in Accenture/McKinsey/Bain/BCG när man inte vill/vågar stå för något själv. Den biten tror jag inte kommer att försvinna med AI. 😅

Not sure how true it is, but a couple of years ago I heard Simon charges $50k for speaking engagements. Wouldn't be surprised if it was 4x that today. 😅

Yeah, $1500 for a 2 hour 1:1 Why Workshop over Zoom with one of their instructors, for example. 😅😬

Haha. Tack! Övar på att
1. bli en person som alltid gör det han säger att han ska göra
och
2. Korta ner tiden mellan det att jag tänker att jag ska göra något till att jag faktiskt gör det

Do you mean managers not caring or ICs not caring about managers' work?

Då ska vi se! 😊

Den här träffade timingmässigt rätt för mig. Ska ta och köpa boken senare idag. 😃

I agree. I do like the dot syntax in Swift though. Makes the code more explicit with minimal boilerplate. (as in it's clear that .problem is part of an enum, but PROBLEM could be anything)

There are only two hard problems in computer science:
Naming things
Cache invalidation
Off by one errors

What's that quote again?
"Gradually, then suddenly"
Something like that...

Yes. Yes, you do. 🥰

I know, right... 😅 I always prompt AIs to not be so chirpy and overly supportive.
comment in response to

Haha yes. It was very interesting to notice how personal I took the criticism when a) generated by a machine, b) I asked for it and c) was spot on. =D
LLMs are weird, but so is the Ego. =)

Yeah... I am definitely stealing that line! 😍

I like to say that there is a difference between being honest and saying everything that pops up in your head.
Responding, not reacting.
Simple example is giving feedback. "fuck, that's bad" is a thought I've had a few times, and "we need to improve this" is a better response.

Right...
What do you think is the next step for you to try?
This just makes me more curious, btw. I think I will need to ask @charana.bsky.social about this when we speak next week. 😁

Not an expert, but I am curious to hear what you find. 😇 Will probably have to be some sort of RAG thing.
Some AI note takers can do this (klang.ai is decent, to name one).

Really looking forward to this conversation! 😊

My guest, @nyblom.io, coaches elite CTOs to excel while continuing to improve themselves.
As a CTO, I am curious.
I want to ask:

This looks slick! 🙌

Nice! 🙌 As a non-US citizen/resident (I am Swede living in Sweden) I was kinda surprised that I knew the answer to what Americans pledge allegiance to and a handful of other questions. 😅

Let's do it! I was investor and advisor to a startup building an AI coach (shut down in January), so I have a few thoughts on that topic. 😇
comment in response to

Yes! Probably part of why people say I am a good leader. What I am talking about is throwing out a halfbaked idea and accidentally making it sound like an undisputable truth. 😇
Yes, I do that too.
comment in response to
post
Yep. An added dimension to that is that I tend to make everything I say sound great, simply from the way I speak. Great trait when selling, but super dangerous when leading teams.

Har lätt för en av dem, så tar tillfället i akt och postar om det.

No idea, but I am equally curious

Found a handful of sites that region lock me based on the language on my devise. And the blocks me at checkout, because my card is not from that region. These are companies with complicated licensing models, but still... 💀

Right! I know next to nothing about podcasting software. But the host said he was also moving away from Riverside, but to something called Podcastle.
comment in response to

I think he did it directly in Riverside (the podcasting tool). 🤔 And yeah, getting very scary. Soon we'll just send our AI twins to do interviews for us.

Various topics. Some coaching, some leadership stuff, some startups stuff, a comment about how I make sure to prioritize my cats. 😂 I'd be happy to record a conversation with you though. I think we have a lot of interesting intersections. 😇

No pressure, Jason. But we'll need that article finished ASAP. 😇😂

Nice! Yeah, Gemini is great! I especially like using that when constructing workshop and such. Great thinking partner!

And whats the point of building your own business if you don't do it your way? 😇 (at least a little bit)
comment in response to

Haha yes, same here.
comment in response to

Why did you stop the executive coaching?
Yes, that's the one reason that makes me coming back to the idea of maybe starting a podcast myself. 😅 Good way to get to speak with interesting people!
comment in response to

I guess that will have to wait a week. Now to quickly regroup and see what else I can do to win the day! 🚀
