Been called “The First Fan of #NewYorkCityFC” (chronologically speaking) I started organizing the Third Rail on Day One (5/21/2013), served as its 1st president (2014-15), & am still Member No. 0001. Proud to have coined the nickname “Pigeons” #DaleNewYork

Anti-abortion measures deny pregnant women the bodily autonomy we grant the dead. No one, even a corpse, can be forced to be an organ donor, no matter the lives that could be saved. But a pregnant woman is expected to donate her blood supply, at not inconsiderable risk, to a potential person.

The man who scored the winning goal (the only goal) in that game was a Haitian immigrant. Joe Gaetjens wasn’t even a US citizen. He was a student at Columbia and a part-time dishwasher in a restaurant. Working for his dream. Just like millions of other average Americans.
