Been called “The First Fan of #NewYorkCityFC” (chronologically speaking) I started organizing the Third Rail on Day One (5/21/2013), served as its 1st president (2014-15), & am still Member No. 0001. Proud to have coined the nickname “Pigeons” #DaleNewYork

Honestly, I think some people do realize that and it’s why they are against cycling infrastructure.

They are waiting for a perfect candidate. And are willing to support fascism until theirs comes along. Accelerationism is very much a thing, I’m afraid. They think they’re protected by their privilege.

You forgot 11) happy to see fascists in office in order to punish democrats for being insufficiently pure. Those are the people I’m speaking to.

Exactly. It was a terrible slogan that set back the cause of police reform by DECADES. My future mayor, @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social, knows this. He’s got it right.

Which is exactly what the fascists are hoping for.

Totally unrealistic. Trump isn’t flexible enough to kick anyone. He’d have a flunky do it.

Waiting for perfect candidates is how we got here. Find the one closest to you and vote for them. It’s not as emotionally satisfying as a third-party protest vote, but it’s also a hell of a lot less harmful for the vulnerable people you claim to support.

If those votes hadn’t been wasted on third party protests, cheating wouldn’t matter. We saw it in 2000, 2016, and 2024. Vote for Democrats or Republicans win.

Okay, this is cool. Football clubs and libraries are two places we build community. Great to have them working together.

Love watching this “tournament” flame out in a spectacular way.

When this World Cup was first announced, I was so excited. Now we have a country where visitors are unwelcome. Where hatred of the other is the law of the land.

Yes, this will be a hard choice for them to make. But didn’t they volunteer for a hard job?

Hochul? She’s already planning her Quisling moment for maximum advantage. Especially if she can stick it to the city at the same time.

We’re “densely big” and they’re “sprawling big”. Either way, people fear what they don’t understand. And what they’re told to fear.
