Yeah, I just didn't know if there was some logical connection between the similarity of the symbols in Hebrew (I assume it's different in modern Hebrew but idk?). the v-w split definitely throws me

I think I recall reading that they were also frequently switched in early languages, def in Biblical Hebrew. What I'm not sure about is why-- especially given that the symbols are so similar, but the sounds are not (but they get switched???)

I think it's one thing to teach that this technology can be used similarly to a fancy calculator, but it's another thing to expect that it will *ever* replace human beings *in any way*
