That or a uniquely Seanan magic I don't possess. He does at least like me best of all the humans in the house. I think.

I still find it funny that if I take him out at home he's a hissy grumpus but I drag him somewhere new and hand him to @seananmcguire.bsky.social and he's a perfect angel. You'd think it would be the reverse, but no.

You know, I had managed to forget the goats in that moment. Well in that case shit, what is a pony but a larger goat? (My mom wanted a halflinger but I talked her out of it. She does not have goats.)

The bridge is lined with many gorgeous sculptures of men and women and children, most of which are in the kind of poses that show the sculptor was a fantastic observer of real people—holding hands, carrying children, leaning against each other, all just stunning work. Then there’s this guy.

that said if I had funds I would because I very much want Shep to have a Pony

Halflingers are smart and will use it in ways you do not appreciate. Even if they are NICE, oops your gate is open and the neighbor's gate and everyone is in the road now.

I am yet again here to be the Queen of No Fun Mountain and remind people that possessing feathers from native birds is illegal in the US, and even if you're like Well What's One Feather Going To Do, at least don't post evidence of your crimes on the internet

Go to store.mayakern.com. This is a small, female-owned business. Look at their skirts. If you're used to fast fashion and Target, the prices may seem high. The prices are perfectly reasonable. This is not fast fashion. This is slow, loving, lasting, size-inclusive fashion.

Whenever I think on hope, I remember an old piece of LotR meta from tumblr on the importance of Estel, or irrational hope, and rarely fail to feel better.

It took us six hours to drive from Stockton to LA. Funnily enough it would also take me about 6 hours to drive from N IL to S IL, a fact which enrages me on a totally different level, having made that first drive. Distance vs traffic.
