I haven’t heard this song in decades and completely love it

Wait, you didn’t do the audiobook reading yourself? Oh well, congratulations on it anyway — thanks so much for everything you do to help keep sanity in the world

I don’t think so. I think once Trump is in power Fox News and the right wing media will simply start telling their audiences that everything is safe and wonderful and better now, and people will believe them. I hope I am wrong.

Sorry, but yacht rock — even if it isn’t a genre — works for me as a way to identify music I want to hear. Steely Dan, Michael McDonald, America, Christopher Cross… It’s OK if you don’t like it, but I do

You rock, Molly! Congrats on the book. FWIW I loved your mother’s work, and I’m sad to hear you had such hard times. Best wishes for a bright future, though. Thanks for all you do.

But we are waiting for the sequel to The Big Sick so we can add it to this list

Trump shows a profound misunderstanding of what people mean by ā€˜President Musk’. They just mean he is calling the shots, not that he holds the office. Idiot.

No, Molly, we need you.

This is exactly where I am. I don’t think it’s permanent, but for now I just have to turn it all off.

I loved Blitz and was astonished at how beautifully shot it was. Greatly disappointed, though, that I had no chance to see it in a theater.

Gotta be Quantum. There aren’t many Bond films that are actively bad, but this one is.

I’m in denial and mental health care mode. Avoid the news. Distract, which for me means do lots of self-care and self-improvement. Not the most responsible course, but it’s temporary. I won’t be of use to anybody if I’m a collapsed blob of jelly.

Yes to all this, but: I need help with cutting down on plastic. I see everybody shopping with eco-bags, but I need the plastic bags to use for throwing out the trash. Am I missing a more green-friendly workaround?

Are people arguing about this, seriously? I just finished the audiobook of Matt Haig’s The Midnight Library, read beautifully by Carey Mulligan. It was delightful, and it’s absurd to say I haven’t read it. I don’t multitask while listening though.

Lots of people skip credits, but Netflix and other streaming services could simply add a toggle in Settings to have complete end credits play by default, for viewers like us who want to see them. It would be easy to fix, why don’t they?
