When true believers finally see the light they do one of two things: 1. Double down because of sunk cost 2. Blow it all up spectacularly. Bingo-Boingo will choose #1. His income depends on it.

Especially since Musk is doing this SPECIFICALLY to distance himself from the disaster he created in the Federal government. He should never be allowed to rehabilitate.

I can't believe anyone is intimidated by this schlub.

I can't imagine how making a guy who is a combination of ultimate ignorance, WWE drama and MLM scamming the Unitary Executive would ever go wrong.

Self-REGULATE!? Fuck. I thought it was self-regurgitate!

Ok. I'm convinced. Jack P takes it up the B in airport bathrooms.

Those people are poor. They don't often vote and they certainly don't contribute to political campaigns

Is that dude some sort of Josh Hawley failed clone?

When this is all said and done and the United States crumbles to "mafia gas station with nukes" status, I certainly hope all of these trailer dwelling trash voters are happy.

It's infuriating that the dumbest people in America voted for the shittiest person in America in spite of that shitty person's already proven incompetence and shittiness. Then said shitty person finds hoards of stupid incompetents to put in charge of very important things.

Trump is a stupid cunt.

The old GOP, the northeast country club set, still holds those ideals. The new GOP, the southern bourbons, the progeny of the plantation aristocracy, never believed in laissez-faire economics. They believe in class based caste systems that the economy must service and reinforce.

Then trade is just another commodity for Trump to use to extract payments from other countries/companies. Ffs.
comment in response to post
It's dumber than mercantilism though. It's anti-globalism expressed through a desire to stop all international trade. Like, when did we last have ZERO cross borders trade as a civilization? Even when we were organized in tribes in prehistory those tribes traded with each other.

I've seen dried dog turds with more to contribute than Buckethead here ever has.

So much of our "male loneliness epidemic" can be explained by the fact that fat, ugly middle-aged losers can control a mostly naked 18 year old female in a video game but cannot actually talk to a woman who isn't their mother.

There used to be a map shop that, while not near me, was not prohibitively far. I loved to go there and browse their flat drawers full of USGS topo maps.

I really think this is Trump's plan to elevate Russia by decimating the US and the west generally to bring us down to Russia's level.

A casualty of the GPS era that I miss mightily is the map store. There used to be stores that just sold maps and they were cool as fuck.
comment in response to post
No. There is not a tariff end game. The exercising of power to try and extort other countries or companies within the US for the benefit of Trump is the game. Why would he conclude that? It's the exercise power which feeds his narcissistic needs.

Return to the middle of the bridge. Absolute trash. 2/2

This weekend I had some time to kill waiting on a company to service a part for me. Was near a park so I put the park name into google map's to visit. GMaps gave me the directions to get on the nearby interstate, drive across the Park's reservoir bridge, do a U-turn at the next exit, then 1/2

I wish all of the grifters, racists, morons and scum that comprise MAGA would shut up and go away.

The only reasonable response to anything Curtis Yarvin.

This has been a massive problem in US policing for decades. There's no faster way to fascism than treating the police force like a besieged army in a hostile land. This is exactly what we have done.

It's pretty amazing how 19th century thought has bled into the 21st century so thoroughly.

We're on the glide path to Idiocracy.

Hum. What possibly could have happened around 2017-18 that would account for such a huge spike in profits for companies? Unrelated, I'm sure, is this chart.

Curtis Yarvin looks like he is a 40 year old assistant manager at Blockbuster. He looks like he writes love songs for World of Warcraft. He looks like he could translate anything into Klingon on the fly.
