Could you send that thunder here? They’re going to cancel the parade if there’s a storm.

In German we don't wish someone happiness on their birthday. Instead...Wishes of luck and all good things!
(I still hope it was happy)

Oh, sure. Margaret Cho popped in every time she was in town, for instance. If they’re an ally, sure. But bigger stars mean bigger headaches.

No, I have a thing about divas and leather bars. I know it’s isn’t gracious but it bugs me. It comes from working in an Eagle for almost a decade.
I’m not heterophobic but there’s a safe space component to the situation.

Take yourself on a very nice date. Museum or garden, nice restaurant. Then maybe have your way with yourself later.
You win.

It's so normal that Kids In The Hall had a sketch about it last time I saw them live. It involved a time machine that took you back about 15 minutes ;-)

I have the opposite problem. My neighbours are Vietnamese and there's a Thai family not too far. They never invite me over. Grr. It always smells amazing around here.

I should have known that.
In my defence, I have been neck deep in dahlias, lilies, and ranunculi lately.

I don't recognize those. What are they? They kinda look like lobelia but I know that isn't right.

You don't need a photographer.
(Unless you're in Portland).

$7 a dozen is a small price to pay for a little happiness. We don't get enough these days.

I have a thousand dollar camera (and more than that in lenses) that I've used like three times in two years. I need the practice, if your other takers fall through.
