"I don't believe a single liar "started" the alarmist nonsense about climate. " Every bit of what you call nonsense about the climate came from a scientist whose name you can find in under 10 minutes. So name the first.

Hard to find anyone involved in the conflict who isn't an asshole.
comment in response to post
For anyone who doubts you on this: google Vittorio Arrigoni.
comment in response to post
The guy who started it. The discovery of AGW was a chronology of single discoveries by single scientists. If it's a hoax, it started with one scientific paper by one scientist, and it should take you under 10 minutes to find it, Mensa boy.
comment in response to post
Name the hoaxer, Mensa boy.

Nobody is omniscient, but lots of people are literate and intelligent, and you appear not to be among them. You do not need to be God to look these things up. A lot of people worked hard to make it easy for you. So name the hoaxer.
comment in response to post
And 50 years later you can't look up a PDF on Google Scholar. How sad.
comment in response to post
I've certainly not come up with any indication that you really are a Mensa boy.
comment in response to post
Scientists were talking about global warming before Gore was even born. Try again.

There's a whole lot of AI model training and web reindexing that can be scheduled with power demand response as part of the equation.

No, science isn't a courtroom drama, but it is a carefully documented process, exactly because of the risk of misconduct. Which is why if there was any, it should take you under 10 minutes to find exactly where it began.
comment in response to post
For a Mensa boy, you seem unable to follow any logic at all. And you can't even do a simple search on Google Scholar.
comment in response to post
If AGW is a hoax, the scientific discoveries ARE the hoax. And finding the first scientist to publish a paper with a falsehood should take a bona fide Mensa boy under 10 minutes. Yet none of you can do it. Chronology is a liberal hoax too?
comment in response to post
The Horseshoe is proved yet again.
comment in response to post
If you can't name a single scientist before Mann and Hansen who you think engaged in fraud, then CAGW is not a hoax, because all the discoveries related to CAGW predate Hansen and Mann. If you think it is a hoax, name the hoaxer. Should take 10 minutes at most, Mensa boy.
comment in response to post
If X is fraudulent, the first scientist to say X is the fraudster. If you really think there's "no way" to know how the "hoax" started, then you can't really be Mensa material. People have worked very hard for decades to make this task easy. So do it, Mensa boy.
comment in response to post
IF there was any fraud, there was a first scientist to engage in it. And finding his name would take under 10 minutes. Which non of you can do.
comment in response to post
So, who's going to be doing the briefings that he should do? You? AltHHS ? the AMA?
comment in response to post
Okay, then who was the first you think was fraudulent? Name. The. Hoaxer.
comment in response to post
Then Manabe, and Callendar, and many others before Mann and Hansen are undoubtedly in the clear. Which means AGW, including CAGW, is not a hoax. Thank you for admitting. Weird that you needed Grok for this, Mensa boy.
comment in response to post
There's an NIMH study on this that will have to be leaked because it's not authorized for publication.
comment in response to post
No, not read minds, read PDFs, Mensa boy. If climate change is a hoax, it started with a PDF you can download and read in under 10 minutes.
comment in response to post
You obviously don't know, or you'd have named him by now, Mensa boy.
comment in response to post
Yes, Inability to do something that should take a person with Mensa level smarts under 10 minutes. Yet none of you can do it.
comment in response to post
Your reading comprehension is pretty poor for a Mensa boy. Hoaxer. Singular. The first scientist to publish a lie. Remarkably difficult for you to figure this out, Mensa boy.
comment in response to post
I am mocking you for your inability to use your claimed high IQ to access resources available to you by the device in your hands. You can put my in my place about this by naming. the. hoaxer.
comment in response to post
Your only skill is to try (and fail) to deflect with memes. Name the hoaxer, Mensa boy.
comment in response to post
She's capable of exercising bad judgment, and she has. But to mock her for a brain condition endemic in the engineering profession is pretty telling, Mensa boy.
comment in response to post
I can look up the scientists behind AGW. You can't. Very strange for a Mensa boy.
comment in response to post
If you were like Greta, it would be easy. She's "afflicted" with the same brain condition of half the engineering profession. Now explain the Beer Lambert law in your words.
comment in response to post
My Google skills are far from "mad", Mensa boy. But as someone who claims a high IQ, you should be able to outshine mine in minutes. So name the hoaxer, boy.
comment in response to post
No, you're asking me to explain to you something that is beyond your understanding, Mensa boy. Come back when you understand the Beer Lambert law and we'll talk about the math behind infrared absorption in gases.
comment in response to post
Strange how nobody who calls it a "climate hoax" can come up with the name of the scientist who started it. It's a 10 minute task on Google Scholar and none of these people can do it.
comment in response to post
You tell me, Mensa boy. And you tell me why you can't use your IQ for something as basic as a scientific literature search.
comment in response to post
I'm not ready for that kind of commitment!
comment in response to post
Let alone Usenet operators.
comment in response to post
Not when their prez is a Jew. Not gonna happen.
comment in response to post
I posted an essay like that on K5. I am so sorry.
comment in response to post
Come back with that question after you've read what the Beer-Lambert Law is and what it means for climate change.
comment in response to post
142 verbal, you say. Okay, then type "history of the discovery of global warming" into Google, and start looking up some scientists. It should not be hard, Mensa boy.
comment in response to post
Every discovery adding up to the "climate hoax" started with a scientist. Not just the demonstration of the CO2 warming effect in 1859. So name the hoaxer, Mensa boy. With an IQ of 172, it should not be hard to find and read some PDFs.
comment in response to post
Bold of you to imply there will be history books in the future.
comment in response to post
I think we can parse his comments as saying polarization is the enemy within. In which case he gets a D on his essay for his choice of words, but not an F.
comment in response to post
What's false? Can you find anything about AGW that was first said by a non-scientist and only then said by a scientist? Nonsense. The entire paper trail on the issue is public. Go read it, Mensa boy. Are you sure your IQ is 170?
comment in response to post
If CO2 is "scapegoated" by a hoax, it's because of a statement made about it, made by a scientist. So name the scientist who started the "hoax," Mensa boy.
comment in response to post
Nothing vague about typing "history of the discovery of global warming" and looking up the scientists in Google Scholar. You should try it, Mensa boy.
comment in response to post
You can't point to who the first was because despite your 170 IQ, you can't do a simple literature search on Google for a scientific topic. Do the other people in your local Mensa club share your disability?
comment in response to post
Ah, the hockey stick. If that's the first lie told about AGW, then AGW is not a hoax. Mann published in the 90's. Over 100 years after the discovery of CO2 warming. So no, not him. And Gore was not the first to say anything about anything. So name the hoaxer, Mensa boy.
