This is the frothing bigotry behind "people always die during ceasefires." We are expected to have 100% empathy for however genocidal Israelis are feeling, but the moment is time to consider how Palestinians feel after 77 years of genocide and ethnic cleansing it's at best "complicated."

Magneto as a holocaust survivor wouldn't make sense in the MCU. He'd be in his 90s. But it's important that the character is a survivor of mankind at our worst, having experienced such brutality at the hands of homo sapiens to believe peace was never an option. MCU Magneto should be Palestinian.
