Any “well we weren’t notified” gets a standard issue “we didn’t want you to delete evidence” etc.

Just hang a lanyard, walk on in, declare you’re with doge to audit something something something, demand to be taken to the server room. Questions and hesitation? Confirm their names, tell em you’ll be sure they’re first on the chopping block if they don’t comply and demand to be let in again.
