"Dead bison's ballsack." Never heard that one and it's pure genius! Maybe he's hoping all the radiation will finally kill that worn in his brain.

Not surprisingly. The clueless idiot roles she has played over the years were not acting, just type casting.

Trump does hate Christmas...and the feeling is mutual.

A lot of us are right there with you. Unfortunately, too many voters in Iowa left the rest of us (and the nation) with these two disasters.

A LOT more of this....EVERYWHERE!

"Launch and Learn" (or in this case, TRY to Launch and Learn) is a wasteful and irresponsible way to develop a space program. And despite the tragedy of Apollo 1, it's sure as hell isn't how NASA go us to the moon in 1969.

Note that she's not near a fire. Excessive heat can melt fake hair, fake lips, fake breast, and probably fake teeth. Like the Wicked Witch of the West: "I'm melting."

Woods is worried he'll be the first actor to be replaced by holograms and AI. Why Woods? Simple minded, non-complex idiots are the easiest to replicate. Beginning coders could program a mini-me Woods in their sleep.

What? You think that just because you're retired you don't have to defend the country that gave you so many opportunities? Maybe you can't march 10 miles or protest for 12 hours straight. Fine. Forgot how to use the phone or email? Spare me. Get off your ungrateful, lazy ass and DO SOMETHING!

It's amazing how many people my age (65+) are either (a) doing their best ostrich impression, hoping they won't have to acknowledge what this facist regime is doing, or (b) doesn't care ("I got mine" syndrome).

The majority of rural Iowans and many urban Iowans have never met a trans individual, and probably wouldn't know it if they did. In many counties, there may be zero trans residents. Yet they think it's being shoved down their throat. Perception vs. reality. Same probably happens in most states.
comment in response to

Some Iowans feel it's being shoved down their throat because (1) they're expressing their bigotry in what they think is an "Iowa Nice" manner; (2) the IA state government is obsessed with driving trans out of the state. Can't listen to one minute of local news without some Rebublican bloviating.

Suggestion: have everone wishing to take one good swing at this pompous bastard pay $5. We could pay off the National Debt, adequately fund Medicare, Medicaid, SS, etc. With what's left over, give every taxpayer $25K refund.

But there is a silver lining. If bad things have to happen at DHS, hopefully, it will start at the top of the department.
comment in response to

OK, so this "I never got picked for anyone's team / 22yo, never been kissed or had sex" loser is in charge of security for DHS. I hope not, but a lot of bad things will now happen due to his ignorance, ego, inexperience, and incompetence.

Given that Trump likes to emulate Putin, Musk may want to avoid balconies in the foreseeable future. Especially the higher altitude balconies.

Looks like she's either running away from her constituents or running toward the hog barn to castrate more hogs. Or maybe toward a town hall where she'll try to castrate her constituents.

That would indeed be the 100 killoton bomb. But it wouldn't come from Musk. I don't think he's going incriminate himself in the biggest fraud of the century. But then, given his complete lack of impulse control, and enough ketamine, who knows?

Who needs summer movies? This will he great entertainment. Except for all the damage, these two crooked morons have already wrought.

My wise father always told me... "Politicans serve only two purposea. They serve as anti-role models for children (i.e. the last people children should emulate), and serve as something for adults to laugh at." Tump and Must prove his point.

And now that Trump is back in power, Musk is surprised he lost his electric car subsidies?
Musk is a drug addicted monron. I saw this coming the day Trump reassumed the presidency. Two 5 year old fighting.

After all the irreparable harm these two have done to our country, the America people, and beyond, we deserve some free entertainment. Watching the Family Fued melt down between these two go nuclear should be a major riot to watch. Children and their spats.

"Insufferable jerk" is being kind. I would use much harsher terms, Jess. But you're undoubtedly using more restraint than I would.

Ignoring momentarily the loss of human life and the multi-generational scars, $105M is almost an insult. Adjusting for inflation and nothing else, should be closer to $1.89 BILLION. And that doesn't include the lost revenue (in 2025 $) those businesses would have generated.

With Musk, one never knows if what he says is driven by too much (or too little) ketamine, or if once again, it's his abject stupidity. Ironically, by the blasting the "big, beautiful bill," he may have said something useful. Maybe even truthful.

I can't wait until the mother f*cker Trump rots in hell. Ernst says "We're all going to die someday." OK Trump, you think you're such a leader, you go first. The devil is giddy with anticipation.

Trump has no interest in competence and intelligence. In fact, those are the LAST attributes he wants in his regime. His cabinet appointments prove that. Loyalty to the 🍊💩 is the only trait he seeks.

So it's not the education system that feeds those high paying jobs in IN that are problematic. Secondary ed. levels and below are another story. I have two friends who recently retired from senior positions at Lilly. My conversations with the one from HR about recruitment were enlightening.

Its not where the talent is now, but where they were educated. These firms want employees with BS and higher degrees. Again, some very good universities in IN. While a significant % of those with high paying tech/pharma jobs earned their degrees in IN, many of them were educated elsewhere.

Decent educational standards? In some states, yes. Indiana, not so much. Some very good universities, but secondary and below, no. I know. I grew up there in the 60's & 70's. Still have friends who recently retired from teaching in IN. Better than some pathetic states, but still sub-stanard.
