Can't speak for the whole 10 pounds but some of the pesky weight is due to beer and wine--something provinces guard jealously with taxes and tariffs and excuses Mr. Trump would covet in his dreams. When we--and the first ministers--talk, dry January is achievable, but later, we give in to ourselves.

Why do we have a provincial government? Alberta does not need to separate from Canada; Alberta needs to separate from the UCP.

Very helpful timeline! But wait a second...Danni said they inherited the problem. Inherited it from whom, exactly?

Thank you for sharing--first public accountability I've seen in Alberta in 6 years! Can't blame Trudeau, can't blame the NDP, can't hide behind a Janet Brown poll, can't use a Rick Bell editorial as an umbrella, can't threaten Ottawa, and can't explain how she inherited her own stinky mess.

I take it that just giving the Chief Gospodar a significant sum of ca$h is not an acceptable response?

Wait...wait... Doesn't this mean we're subsidizing American drinking? 😂

If bitumen transport has to be nationalized, then let’s have a debate about equity stake, revenue sharing and royalty rate at source. If we are finally admitting this resource belongs to the public in the first instance, as Lougheed often reminded us, then let’s be honest about it.

The Premier says we have the lowest living standards. Perhaps enforcing clean-up by the oil companies is a good step to improving standards.

We have the lowest living standards but 52% of Albertans would vote for the UCP. Maybe Albertans are basically satisfied?

Hearing rumours that the Calgary Stampede may have to close early because too few Albertans have $80,000 Ford F-150 Lariat pick-up trucks to drive to the midway for Lobster Tornado Rolls.

It is incredibly frustrating that there is no leadership at any level of government--year after year! This photo was downtown Edmonton June 9, 2019 with lights needed during the day. Jasper, Fort McMurray, Waterton, Slave Lake: from B.C. through to New Brunswick--our standard of living has dropped.

At least they "mustard" up some enthusiasm for something condiment-ionable.

Dave, do a road-trip. Listen to people in coffee shops in Edson, Legal, Morinville, Viking, Vulcan, and Ponoka. You'd be amazed at what you hear....
