Just came from a get-together where I encountered the opposite situation. I might have had some sympathy for his case if he hadn't had so much difficulty separating his condemnation of "Israel" from the generality of "the Jews." And it was somehow all America's fault. Natch.

3/ So, military, be careful what you do. Keep good records of who told you to do it, what you did & how you kept them informed. Because in a few years, if not sooner, it's going to come back and bite you in the ass. Guaranteed. www.dvidshub.net/news/464606/...

1/ Former Army CI here. I've seen this movie. In the late 60s - early 70s. Following orders, Army CI surveilled anti-war groups, off-base "coffee houses," demonstrations - with the rationale that we were looking for threats to forces & bases. We got a scad of attaboys for doing a good job.

Russians must be terrified when a drone appears. They must be terrified that a drone is going to appear. Yet they keep coming. What impels them?

In any list of the things that make a civilization, libraries will be near the top of that list. Yes, our local library offers ebooks. Also vids, on-line refs & resources. Plus inter-library loans, classes, internet access, quiet study areas, research help, special collections. Mags & newspapers!

Our Virginia neighborhood had lots of bunnies. In our woods, around the pond, in our yards and gardens: bunnies. Then foxes moved in. No more bunnies. Conclusion: Foxes>bunnies>ocelots.

Hi, Moose. I was following hiking-type hashtags & found your post. Question, please. I see the bear cannister in your photo. Are you using that by choice or is it required? Also, if required, where? Thanks much.
