Luigi is a counter terrorist. Our society as it is now is complicit and happy to commit violence when it suits the capitalist class. People are breaking because violence seems to be the only language those with any power actually understand.
comment in response to post
This is violence. Simple as that. The state has a monopoly on violence. The capitalist kings have decided we are worth killing to keep the fucking slaves fighting each other. There is no decency given and none should be returned. We must speak in the only voice they understand.

Sheesh that was a toughie

Sorry about that. I tried to clarify. Either way their behavior is not helpful.

No one deserves this.

Hey, I understand you are angry but they didn’t not vote. They clarify in the chain.

I agree that they shouldn’t be the oppositional party. I don’t agree for my, admittedly selfish, reasons that Trump is the lesser of evils. Specifically in my case, I’m trans. I would like to have a place where we can say we don’t want to continue supporting democrats but also not have to fear death

I think you can hold both accountable. I will admit that I voted for the party that has, and probably will given the chance, committed war crimes. But I did so to avoid losing the last shreds of a chance to not have a genocide committed against myself and fellows. Maybe that’s evil, but I’m at peace

This is all true and valid. Democrats have been terrible for a long time. My point is that if we want so much as a chance in hell to change things without more death and more suffering; the choice was clear.
comment in response to post
Are you seriously asking me this question? It’s a hell of a lot easier to make a change when you can run for office and speak your mind. Which we could and can still do for now, but that will change. How is it better to live (or die) under repression then not try and make change in the best way?
comment in response to post
Why not both? It is absolutely cogent to blame both.
comment in response to post
Ultimately my point is: it’s easier to stop your country from committing war crimes on others when it is not doing so to its own population. People who didn’t vote made a choice. That choice was to allow both to happen. It is not value neutral.
comment in response to post
I’m also trans. I do not want to excuse war crimes and I don’t think I am. I think there is space to both critique and fix an administration we’ll also preventing oneself and community from getting shot in the head (if we are lucky)
comment in response to post
Sure, maybe. You know what is also dangerous as fuck? Ensuring a megalomaniacal freak and his openly fascist buddies get a chance to gut the federal government and kill your fellow citizens.
comment in response to post
My point exactly. And his base are a bunch of nutter zionists who literally want to bring about the end times.
comment in response to post
This isn’t to say the democrats handling of the genocide hasn’t been repulsive and evil. It is a matter of who is actually better from the 2 options we had. Hold politicians accountable by all means, but also understand that there are wider reaching consequences.
comment in response to post
I think you misunderstand my reasoning. I think that people who abstained because they don’t like genocide still made a choice for MORE GENOCIDE. You cannot seriously expect me to think that the way Trump has and does plan to handle Gaza is going result in fewer innocent deaths.
comment in response to post
You absolutely can.

“You know what? Those kids are actually doing TOO well! Let’s torture them just to make sure!”

Eugenics is American born and bred. It’s not surprising, only ghoulish.

Wants armed action to take place, regardless of who performs it. Makes an excuse to declare a state of emergency and/or martial law. That’s my tin foil theory.

The social contract no longer exists. A government that does not help its citizens does not deserve their respect.
comment in response to post
Do not let them take you alive. Scream from the rooftops. Arm yourselves and protect your communities. A government that denies you rights is not a valid one.

Handing him the state on a platter.
comment in response to post
Incandescent rage should be the response. It is a very good motivator.
comment in response to post
They are spineless. But we don’t have to be. Resist at any and all levels we have access to. Scream above the noise.
comment in response to post
Arm ourselves. Find your community. Do not let them take you alive.

Where is your rubicon?
comment in response to post
People need to arm themselves if they feel healthy enough to do so.

We need a new party or a new leader. A voice that calls this shit out on TV. I just, it should just be so clear that these people are scammers and fascists. I wanna grab people and shake’m around until they understand. I get that it’s probably not helpful, but still. Rage is the appropriate response

Heck yeah! Thanks for actually responding! Best of luck! I’m just happy to learn it’s not completely dead.

So, why do they get to say they don’t have to respect our beliefs about ourselves, but we have to beholden to their blood god? There is nothing more frightening then people who legit think there is a god and that he wants them to commit acts of bigotry in his name. No lord of mine.
