Would you be open to converting some of your YouTube content into academic papers? I think open-access in hypatiaphilosophy.org would be feasible and impactful.

I invite you to consider leaving the door open to non-binary individuals. The border between men and women may not be as defined as it appears.

Empathizing with others to build an empathy following: Once, a vendor told me their software was "ethereal". Turns out the CPU wasn't supported... I believe the distinction between hard and soft science is a consequence of culture and thus, can change over time. The future is fuzzy.

Empathizing with others to build an empathy following: STEM guy here. I agree that we over prioritize the immediate capital value of research. I also believe there could be benefit in streamlining communications between wonder and useful. The two are painfully close, especially in storytelling.

If academics sat on their hands and refused to help, would: 1) The executions be incentivized to stop 2) The executions be incentivized to proceed ill informed I doubt we can accurately predict, so it's more about self-identity in the face of uncertainty. Stay flexible, intentional, and pragmatic.

Yes, they primary allow users to circumvent mental blocks. Attention typically says, "Go here, no, go here, WAIT! Don't go over there!" Psychedelics let your mind explore the "restricted sections" of your own mind. It CAN be dangerous, it CAN change people, but that's normally a good thing.

I feel like science communication is very binary now. This IS statistically significant, this ISN'T statistically significant. How about the humility to acknowledge even well studied phenomena result in a distribution of truth? Nothing is False (0), Nothing is True (1) Publish your alpha and beta

Empathizing with others to grow an empathy following: Hello! An engineer here. I am realizing how much all of these matter, and how they matter urgently. Any tips for how to merge hard and soft science into "fuzzy" science?

Empathizing with others to grow an empathy following: Oh man! Did that happen to you? I hope you can get that sorted out quickly without having to redo everything.

Empathizing with others to grow an empathy following: I didn't know that was happening. That's pretty ridiculous. It's like an invisible arbitrary wall dividing the player base, with no real purpose but to hurt people until they open their wallet.

Empathizing to grow and empathy following: The way I see it is your subconscious is very, painfully used to not being able to communicate with you. As soon as it can, it freaks out and dumps everything at you because it has no idea how to make you understand what it goes through on a daily basis.

I agree with everything you said except for maybe your first sentence but I don't think it's relevant to my concern. I could have been more explicit: Actively seeking diversity is valuable Including LGBTQ+ voices (whether women or not) may align with the intended purpose of a "woman-only" group

How does one build an audience if key parts of your message include: "We're all going to disagree forever and that's OK" "There is no objective truth, we all just make approximations" "We resonate with stories not facts, but stories only have the value with give them"

Empathizing with others to build an empathy following: I'm intrigued by this idea of "forbidden knowledge", like somehow knowing about the failures of a system or people will radicalize me against them. I also believe when identities are attached to thoughts, ideas can feel physically threatening.

A big part of my present self-acceptance for me is knowing that my future self won't accept my present self within the context of the future but that it will accept my present self within the context of my present. This also helps my present self accept my past self within it's context.
